Just look at who Apple targets their advertisements towards. Their entire company operates on the principle that you, the consumer, are retarded.

excuse me i never said that. they have more media and entertainment applications than PCs do. and its my opinion, maybe i stated it as though it was a fact, but it was just my opinion. and macs are more updated, run faster, and in my OPINION are easier to use. and yes, the appearance on a mac is much better than on a PC, which makes everything more lively and persuasive.
