I had to do this cell project thing for 7th grade. Ours didn't have to be edible, so I burnt a cell and all of the parts into a piece of wood. It turned out to be really cool.

@raevenv we prepared the jello and let it sin in the fridge for about an hour. Then we placed the candy on top (it's ok if it falls in). Lastly we made more jello and poured that on top of the layer of candy. I hope this helps.
