I love my Saturn, but this game was galacticaly awful. It had the lush Sega look to it, but the draw distance made it completely disorienting. The enemy sprite animation and controls were hideous as well.

To it's credit, I thought it was nice that Sega used the whole screen, as opposed to the likes of Doom, which was always played in a window. Still, the Saturned deserved much better in my eyes.

Nice game, different that the other 1st person games. Brings back nice memories. SEGA Saturn has soooo many wonderful games. I own 105 games(original of course) and I can say that have enjoyed the console very much. Too bad most of the people have no idea what the console has to offer and criticize negatively. They look like idiots in the eyes of an experienced and hardcore gamer.

Agreed. I got this game at a thrift store. I couldn't find a review of it, so I assumed I'd try it for myself. Controls IMO are well-designed and solid (C to shoot, Z to aim, B to Run, A to jump, Y for weapons, L/R to strafe, L+R to crouch, X to quickly rotate), gameplay's pretty intense, music is fine, cutscenes are clear, but pretty cheesy, and replay value is present in the form of hidden diamonds you can try to get all of. I would have given this diamond in the rough a 6.0 to 8.0 / 10.

@sybnios Exactly. All the self-dubbed "MLG" players today who started gaming in the ps2 and xbox era say that the old consoles are shit.  Personally I was more of a nintendo player, but really enjoyed the few games i had for my sega.

Can't believe i even rented this game , i was too dumb at the time too relaize just how dreadful it was , but oddly i still found some entertainment value with it , you can't beat the cheesy fmv sequences :) . JV
