Sometimes He is the Son, sometimes the Spirit, other times the Father. That is a very old false teaching known as modalism.

If you listened to the first part of this video, you would have noticed that Jakes spoke about reaping and sowing (and not just finances). The bible says that as long as time exists so to will the law of sowing and reaping. The Christian community needs to be seekers of truth, and showers of love, not spreaders of doubt and hate!!!
Does not anybody read your bible? It says in Luke 6:38 GIVE, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give unto your bosom. In 2 Corinthians 9:7, it mentions the attitude that should be had in giving. After mentioning about giving what you purpose in your heart, and after mentioning that it shouldn't be done reluctantly, it ALSO mentions that it shouldn't be done OF NECESSITY (under compulsion or in response to pressure). That in itself ought to raise a red flag as to the way people on TBN attempt to get viewers to give to their ministry.

Jesus thought it was so important to warn His sheep of false prophets that He mentioned it 4 times in the book of Matthew alone. Paul warned about the wolves who would enter the flock after his departure(Acts 20:29-31)AND about people who peddle the gospel(2 Cor 2:17)AND about people who would come and preach ANOTHER Jesus(11:4)

Jesus NOT ONCE told anyone to "go win souls." He told THE DISCIPLES to go into all the world and preach the gospel. Jesus never referred to souls as "being won," like salvation is a game of chance or some foolishness like that. It was GOD who added to the the church daily such as should be saved(Acts 2:38). No souls were "won." God chooses US, we don't choose HIM.
So its just as important to watch out for false teachers as it is to preach the gospel because when false teachers get into the flock, they scatter it and cause division. i think that you put too little emphasis on that

It means to, take, bring, fetch, acquire, rescue, etc., but "win" is a poor choice of words. Besides, spiritual salvation through Jesus Christ is not the topic of Proverbs 11:30

For then, Paul would have been in error for confronting Peter for acting as a hypocrite in Gal 2:11-14. Paul warned the churches about false teachers that would come after him and try to seduce them(Acts 20:29-31),and obviously hinted that they would try to con them into giving money, wherewith Paul reminded them in vs 33, "I HAVE COVETED NO MAN'S SILVER, GOLD or APPAREL."
So, "judging another man's servant" has NOTHING to do with warning about those who preach a false doctrine, and therefore, lead people to a FALSE Christ. The Lord doesn't even KNOW heretics jakes, dollar, hinn, etc. (Mat 7:23)

What are you talking about? You certainly are deceived. "Bishop" T.D. Jakes is a false teacher. The doctrine of the Trinity is one of the oldest and most basic teachings of Christianity. All the way back to the Apostles and the early Church. And guess what? Jakes denies it, denies it, and denies it. He believes that God just manifests in different forms. Sometimes He is the Son, sometimes the Spirit, other times the Father. That is a very old false teaching known as modalism.

If you listened to the first part of this video, you would have noticed that Jakes spoke about reaping and sowing (and not just finances). The bible says that as long as time exists so to will the law of sowing and reaping. The Christian community needs to be seekers of truth, and showers of love, not spreaders of doubt and hate!!!

Does not anybody read your bible? It says in Luke 6:38 GIVE, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give unto your bosom. TBN runs on donations from viewers who FEEL LEAD TO GIVE MONEY. Trust me God does let people know if they need to sow into a ministry or not. And personally I would rather give my money to a God profit than spend my money on rated R movies or other things that are unholy.

God didn't give men "free will" to choose anything. Free will has nothing to do with choice. We all make choices, but they are choices that have a cause. None of the choices we make are "free." We choose to sin because our hearts are wicked(Jer 17:9)and our thoughts are only evil continually(Gen 6:5). he didn't have the "free will" to not betray Christ. It was already predetermined. He HAD to do what he did, otherwise, Jesus would not have been crucified, and we'd have no savior. Pharoah had no "free will" to "unharden" his own heart that God had hardened, and Peter's alledged "free will", despite his determined declarations, couldn't keep him from denying Christ 3 times. In 2 Corinthians 9:7, it mentions the attitude that should be had in giving. After mentioning about giving what you purpose in your heart, and after mentioning that it shouldn't be done reluctantly, it ALSO mentions that it shouldn't be done OF NECESSITY (under compulsion or in response to pressure). That in itself ought to raise a red flag as to the way people on TBN attempt to get viewers to give to their ministry.

Here's the christian perspective of God's salvation put in THIS analogy. A lifeguard sees a drowning man in the water, the lifeguard jumps in and swims to the drowning person and says to him, "do you want to be saved?", instead of pulling them out. If the person doesn't say yes and grab on, the lifeguard swims away without rescuing the drowning victi. Why? Because he "didn't choose to be saved."

I'm not saying that the gospel is not necessary to be preached. That's yet another assumption on your part. After all, Paul DID say the foolishness of preaching is how it pleased God to save them that believe(1 Cor 1:21). What I'm saying is that God has already CHOSEN those who would believe, and they are His ELECT. Once again I quote Jesus, "YOU HAVE NOT CHOSEN ME, I HAVE CHOSEN YOU."

We do have a responsibility. We are to always be prepared to give an answer to those who ASK us of the hope that's in us(1 Pet 3:15). We are to be a light for those to see our good works and glorify our Father in heaven(Mat 5:16). God brings those who should be saved TO US. It's amazing that I quoted several verses that show that it's GOD who brings people to salvation, and GOD who chooses, yet you ignore them

The battle for salvation was ALREADY won on the cross. Jesus DEFEATED the works of the devil, NOT "IS DEFEATING" them. Jesus said on the cross "IT IS FINSISHED." It's already DONE. There's no need to keep "winning" anything, it's already WON. Salvation is already a DONE DEAL.

Jesus thought it was so important to warn His sheep of false prophets that He mentioned it 4 times in the book of Matthew alone. Paul warned about the wolves who would enter the flock after his departure(Acts 20:29-31)AND about people who peddle the gospel(2 Cor 2:17)AND about people who would come and preach ANOTHER Jesus(11:4)

Jesus NOT ONCE told anyone to "go win souls." He told THE DISCIPLES to go into all the world and preach the gospel. Jesus never referred to souls as "being won," like salvation is a game of chance or some foolishness like that. It was GOD who added to the the church daily such as should be saved(Acts 2:38). No souls were "won." God chooses US, we don't choose HIM.

This verse(Prov 11:30) has absolutely nothing to do with saving the souls of those who believe in Jesus as their Saviour. The Hebrew word kal from which the word winneth was translated, is used hundreds of times in the KJV, but only once is it translated into any form of the word "win." It means to, take, bring, fetch, acquire, rescue, etc., but "win" is a poor choice of words. Besides, spiritual salvation through Jesus Christ is not the topic of Proverbs 11:30

For then, Paul would have been in error for confronting Peter for acting as a hypocrite in Gal 2:11-14. Paul warned the churches about false teachers that would come after him and try to seduce them(Acts 20:29-31),and obviously hinted that they would try to con them into giving money, wherewith Paul reminded them in vs 33, "I HAVE COVETED NO MAN'S SILVER, GOLD or APPAREL."

Has anyone seen TD Jakes house? he doesn't have a nine to five job, so where is he getting the money from to pay for it. as well as the tailored made suits he wear.the last time i was in church saving souls was free.misuse of money is an understatement.being on the air cost money, but when i see a pastor living like rich people and poor people keep getting poorer, i have a problem with that.

TBN is responsible for millions of people hearing the Gospel who otherwise never would. If they are mishandling money (in your opinion) they will answer to God himself for that. However, God says don't judge each other unless you want to be measured by the same criteria when you're judged by HIM. If you can do better, get to it. The world can always use another such network!

With the amount of money TBN generates, they should be turning the world upside down with the evangel. However, I don't think they preach the evangel. Too many instances contrary to the evangel, too many statements that are outright false. Those that support and pimp for them have also exposed themselves.(BIRDS OF A FEATHER........)
