This song reminds me when i first went for a holiday to owerri in 1978, with a pick van as a means of tranportation in the eastern reigion of nigeria.i was sitting at the back of the 404 van with a wooden chair, while the driver played this music.
Though I don't understand Igbo, I know that Sir Warrior is Great both when he was alive and now that he is dead. Thanks a lot for the joy and happiness his melodies bring to one. May his soul rest in perfect peace, amen.
Sir Warrior. rest in peace. The golden voice will forever be missed. do you by chance bobcat have "Akudo"? I think sir warrior and his oriental brothers did that song. As a kid, I was carried away by that song probably because my name is Akudo.
Kabaka and Dan Satch plays and the velvet voice of Dr. Sir Warrior sings!
Owerri nje nuo!
This is talent on the part of the group both in playing and singing.
This song is also metaphysical. You keep calling: hie ome, hie omea, hie oma, with the power of the spoken word, it comes to live with you. This was my dad's favorite as he practiced and taught Metaphysics.
I'm still saying it,Warrior's voice is not two in igbo land and I don't think we will get that voice again in many generations to come.May your gentle soul rest in peace.
