Ali was a diminished fighter at age 28 after he came back. He lost his legs due to inactivity. He was still a great boxer but not as great an athlete. Look at his fights c. 1966 and the difference is obvious.
I love him ,it's the best fighter in world ever. Muhammad Ali is great . Baraka Allah ou fik mon frere ,tu as représenté les musulmans de toute la terre , tu as gagné le combat du siècle contre Foreman ,tu es une légende meme dans 100 ans ,on te connaitra
Again, Ali has parkinson syndrome, not parkinson disease. It means he had symptoms simular to parkinson but not the disease. Nerve damage by the heavy blows he took are the cause of these symptons. Remember that almost all of the top heavyweights have braindamage after they quit. It's the price they pay and they except it.
Ali in his prime danced, he didn't do that anymore then. Going 15 rounds with Frazier is a question of stanima, you can keep that up pretty long but speed goes away very fast.
Ali has parkinson syndrome, not the disease. It's pretty sure he had it from boxing.
Fighter like Ali, relying on speed and coordination, loses it faster. Ali wasn't the man anymore he was 5 years ago. He still was great offcourse but George would have had even more trouble with the younger version.
that dude at 1:20 looks scary as hell. he looks like one of those africans deep into voodoo. he always plays an evil man in movies. i wouldn't be suprised if he was a closet satist
Ali loved people. He loved being their advocate and their champion. He felt their love for him. The whores, the wino's, the dope addicts. The people loved him right back for that. George didn't have that connection, he had no idea how to connect with the people.
i know it wasnt in this segment but i loved when ali was saying 'im going to dance all night, hes too slow, gonna be looking around trying to find me' one of my fav boxing quotes
4:32 "im not lookin at the world and what they say my god controls the universe" thats one of the greatest quotes ive ever heard.. BLESS U ALI.. u are the greatest!
This is classic Ali it's almost as if he's turned back the clock to at least 1971 maybe even 1964, physically he looks in great shape lean and mean very much ready to trade punches with Foreman. I think even at this point he has some Idea of what type of fight this would be.
