@TheMASDrummer Of course it would, think about it, this a Z Custom. It's a much heavier cymbal. K Customs are much thinner, and a fast crash will be thinner still, so that would wobble LOADS.
Nice. I did the same thing with my 'Clang!' vid, only i don't have anything nearly as cool as that to bang on. Much more experimentation will ensue. :)
It's only about $300. You can get it on Amazon and other places I'm sure. It doesn't normally record audio in slo mo though, I added that in using Final Cut.
Check out my slow mo videos also with audio!!!!

its amazing how flexible a symbol is. yet drummers still manage to crack them. some drummers even take chunks of symbols out.

I have this camera too, how do you get audio to work on it?
mihaicnica 1 year ago 3
@mihaicnica You can't record audio with it in slow mo mode.
I ran 2 cameras, 1 slow mo, 1 regular speed with audio, then I took the audio from 1 and slowed it down in FCP and outputted the new video.

would this happen with a k custom fast crash?
TheMASDrummer 1 year ago 3
@TheMASDrummer I've recorded a few different cymbals (not sure what kinds though) and they all seem to do it to some degree.
