Officers of the Polish Commonwealth were murdered there were, Polish, Jewish, Ukrainian, ByleoRussian, Tatar, German, all who believed agains Communist murder they gave their lives there and the worst part is that the West denied and buried their murder for 70 years...they were murdered twice once in act and once in memory!
Roast in Hell you Russian Pigs for every Polish Officer you murdered and every Polish Child you starved for 50 Years of occupation and tryiing to destroy our culture..If i see a Russian I wont even shit on him with runny diarrhea because he is not worth it
As a fourth generation American of mixed Romanian, Polish, and Slovak-Ukrainian heritage, watching thi really makes me wish I was there...ETERNAL BE THEIR MEMORY
Salut to the victims of Hatyn massacre but the only reason why this particular war crime was so much popularized is to cover the great stalinist soviet genocide against many thousands of best Polish officers in KATYN woods. Done by NKVD forces on order of soviet government in 1940. . This crime will never be forgotten. and You should take to concederation mentionig about it while giving your film the title "Khatyn".
Murder was murder and it doesn't matter what was the native country of murderer. My title only means that I've shot it at the memorial Khatyn. Sorry for my bad english
my late dear parents and my two oldest late sisters were from belarus. while they were escaping from the sadistic stalin's jewish regime, they were caught in the forest by the germans, and sent to nuremberg slave camps. my two oldest little sisters were murdered in those camps.
every single day, i think of the horror my family went through. war has many ugly faces.
4example what do American kids know about this war? Tell me? Nothing! What can they know being raised on "false patriotism". We have what to be proud of-the strong spirit!!! I love my country and people! Long life Belarus!
Khatyn is a memorial to honor those innocent souls who lost their life in that cruel unfair war. They haven't done anything not to u not to anybody else. Shame on u 4 your ignorance! I personally admire people who remember, preserve, and grow respect 4 their ancestors in new generations
Germans and some other mentioned by u nations were on Hitler's side. They gave up without fight while Belarus resisted the fascist army and fought with honor and patriotism. For all 4 years the whole territory of the country has been under German occupation. Every 3rd person in Belarus was killed during the war. And that is not a small #! The country suffered a lot and it's a great sadness! It's a national tragedy!
Folks. Get a higher consciousness level! There were 60 Million people whom died, 6 Million jews and 54 Million American, German, French, Russian, Polish, Englishmen, Latvians, Lithuanians, Ukrainians, Estonians etc. Looking at those numbers I think a tribute should be TO ALL OF THEM whom lost their lives SO YOU AND I HAVE THE CHOICE to do better RIGHT THIS VERY MIN.

I think it was more of an anti communist movement at the time then a pro fascist one like it is to this day. National Socialism was the only option besides Sovietization.
Khatyn was destroyed by the 118th police battalion which was formed in Kiev and was made up of Mostly Ukrainians and Russians. Grigory Vassiura was the headquarters chief. He was later tried and executed in Belarus in 1986 for the crime. It was an anti partisan action taken out on Belarusian civilians by Russian and Ukrainian men with pleasure.
