to all who support the so called gratitude campaign. think about this. dont you think in a way our freedom of speech is taken away by a hand jesture meant for the deaf/ hearing impared. we as americans should not be afraid of what people might think or say when we approach a soldier to thank them for putting their lives on the line for us every day. the gratitude campaign to me is a joke and is absolutely rediculous case in point 9 out of 10 times all i recieved were weird looks.
This is great. i meen really. a simple guesture... yet it is quite affective. i want to say to every man and woman out there, that i will be praying for you. and i also salute those who gave the greatest sacrifice for their country. god bless you all.
What a great idea, every time I try to say "Thank You For Your Service" my eyes fill with tears and I choke up and it sounds goofy (to me at least). This lets me let them know.
