damn dogg steezy skills. have you tried allyoop unity cesses? i personally cant go straight if i do it on flat ground because i have to force my self to bend. but when i do it on a box ,or anything that has to jump to it. its easier. and your already in position bent in from your knees and butt.

@sk8nation100 Like just a frontside grind? Well you want to get a slight angle at the coping and when you get right up under the coping lean your feet back a tiny bit and hop onto the coping. Once your on, bend your knees and keep your weight centered between your feet. Make sure you keep a strong stance while grinding. Hope this helped, if you have any more questions just message me :)
@sk8nation100 go at an angle, don't jump on the coping, just ride on. then bend your knees and don't lean too much forward. lean back alittle bit. if you lean too much forward you will stop, because your front wheels will hit the wood or concrete.
@sk8nation100 Yes, of course you can! I personally think Xsjado's are the best skates to learn them in. Although if your buckles and straps hang over the side, I would suggest getting a smaller shell or cutting a little bit off the edge of the straps and buckles. Not too much though, just enough to keep them out of the way. If that doesn't work try loosening them a little bit.
@flowerpotproductions It's not really too hard. What you wanna do is for the first few times stand almost completely sideways right by the coping. When your're ready push off of the foot closest to the quarter pipe. And when you land in the quarter pipe, It's just the same as dropping in so you just bend your knees a little. Another way you could do it is get a little bit of speed and roll towards the quarter pipe and when you get close jump into it with both of your feet.
@OaklandSkateCrew ahah thanks! when i was at the skatepark i tried the second way you said and then i tried the first way you said.. it was a really small QP and it didnt feel like the right way to me... also the wood at the skatepark is very slippery thats why i was scared :[
thanks so much! where you scared when you did it from a high QP?
also ok so you stand sideways... jump with the leg closest to the coping... bend your knees and lean foward?
@flowerpotproductions I wasn't too scared. Once you get the feel for it and get it smooth and easy it's not very scary on bigger quarter pipes. And yes that's what you want to do. Good luck man!
wow you make it look so bad ass. i've been skating on and off (mostly off) for 5 years and i think this vid finally makes me want to get into cess sliding. i just wish i had a surface to practice on :/

@JoeJoeboii Thanks man! And as for the soul plates, they don't wear down too bad. It mainly dpends on what kind of surface you do it on.
