I started as a froob and i leveled to 103 as a froob i leveledd my engy and trader as froob  im full paid now and i still like to level as a froob sometimes ( mort and pw borgs FTW )

SL is definitely worth it.

94thts is right, AO and it's expansions only use the CPU for rendering.

The video card plays no role in rendering just display.

The new graphics engine that was promised for AO will use the graphics card. Until then, only a faster CPU will increase speed.

Actually, AO uses DirectX 7 hardware textures & lighting. It *does* use a graphics card. But the engine is so old, it requires only the most basic capabilities, so even an old card or a MB-integrated graphics chip will do.

I think it's pretty worth it, and I only rarely bother going into the shadowlands.

I wouldn't say it makes the game any more or less fun, but the extra abilities that come with it are really useful.

I'd only buy it if you plan on staying with the game for a while, though.

SL mobs give 10X more xp than RK mobs

SL mobs drop amor, weapons, quest items but no credits

there are also dynas in sl btw

sl is very much worth it for the perks, xp, armor/weps.

especialy if you are froob trying to level past 125

However, SL runied gameplay for me, e.g. static dungeons in rk are alot of fun as a froob, alot of various mobs, credit making opputunities and nice drops. SL is more of a xp grind. now all i do is grind to 24/60/100/150 etc and twink, no fun gameplay inbetween!

"SL mobs drop amor, weapons, quest items but no credits" the weapons and armor will sell for 0 creds at a shop vendor, make sure to loot the pearls and pattens (which sell for a handsome sum!)

Actually anarchy online doesnt even use the graphics card. The cpu takes care of the graphics.

Anarchy Online is the greatest game in existence. However, Shadowlands is definitely a requirement.

hey you can download the game from gamershell search in google and when you find the site go mmo clients on the left ...Then press A with mouse cick not with button of keybord and then scroll down and find Anarchy online large client V17.o.o it has the official client and all the EXPANSIONS LOL 1.77GB

Number One Expansion Pack To Ao In My Mind..Alien Invasion Would Be First If I Could Have Access To A City 24/7....It's Funny though How watching the movie I was thinkin about that music and an nt runnin around kiting hecks lol.
