What do you think about the grip on this? Is it a large grip? I'ld like to get one of these, but it kind of looks clunky around the grip. Is it comfortable to hold while shooting? Thanks

@REALZDEALZIO Actually, you can get lobe reconstruction sugery, I'm actually getting it done to my ears in a couple of weeks. My ears are 1 3/4, which most people consider pretty big, and they are going to make them look like brand new. So no, its never too late my friend :)
Thanks for the review. In the future, you may want to put the window behind the camera. The back-lighting makes it hard to see the weapon and causes a contrast issue for your camera.
Good first review, the only thing I would suggest would be to "Over exaggerate" your index finger being straight and off the trigger during your videos. Also, some stupid gun owners flip out when the muzzle flashes the camera. I think it's because they think the bullet is going to magically shoot through the camera, through the internet and then through their monitors. lol
What kind of shot groups do you get at 7-10 yards? (Supported or Unsupported)

I cut the guy some slack because it is his first review. And I am sure he would not handle the firearm the same with someone around. He never pointed at himself only at the camera. With that said, some of the comments are promoting unsafe practices. You never rely on a mechanical device to tell if a gun is un-loaded. If you have not visually checked the chamber you can not say the gun is unloaded. You have to look or feel to be 100% sure. Everytime up pick it up you check it.
@dblgonzo - Totally agree.. I wouldn't trust a loaded chamber indicator over physically inspecting it.. I've heard too many stories about even prior/ current military out in civilan world that have been killed thinking their weapon was unload when it wasn't.. It only takes a few seconds to visually inspect your weapon and it is a simple step that should NEVER be overlooked.
Nice video man, you don't have to look a certain way to know/ or be interested in guns... Fuck the stereotypes they can suck a dick. I almost considered getting this weapon but ended up finding a 1911. As far as showing the gun is clear, you did that when you locked the slide back.
The P345 is a great gun, personally I believe it WOULD be Ruger's best .45acp pistol, except for all the safety mechanisms that go along with it and the fact that the slide is attached to the polymer frame itself and not some metallic insert, too much fluff. The recoil is quite pleasant for a lightweight polymer framed pistol as this type, it feels more of a push instead of the barrel wanting to come back.
@thisdaywakes - You do know that when people say "pipe" it is often referred to as the chamber/barrel ? chamber and barrel = the same shit unless you want to get technical and say the chamber is where the magazine and barrel meet but I have heard a lot of people refer to the barrel/chamber as "the pipe" so he isn't really out of context on his terms in my opinion.

Hey josh...in addition to what you reviewed...I thought I might add that the Ruger P345 will NOT fire if there is no mag in the mag well. Anyone that doesn't believe me put a bic pen in the barrel without the mag in it and pull the trigger. The pen won't move! ;-)

Has anyone else had an issue with loading full mags in this gun? when I go to load a full clip the slide lock releases without any force being applied to the slide lock. this causes the gun to load before I want it to. I sent it back to ruger and they shipped it back to me after 5 weeks with the same problem. any help?

@REALZDEALZIO Actually, you can get lobe reconstruction sugery, I'm actually getting it done to my ears in a couple of weeks. My ears are 1 3/4, which most people consider pretty big, and they are going to make them look like brand new. So no, its never too late my friend :)

Thanks for the review. In the future, you may want to put the window behind the camera. The back-lighting makes it hard to see the weapon and causes a contrast issue for your camera.

Good first review, the only thing I would suggest would be to "Over exaggerate" your index finger being straight and off the trigger during your videos. Also, some stupid gun owners flip out when the muzzle flashes the camera. I think it's because they think the bullet is going to magically shoot through the camera, through the internet and then through their monitors. lol

I cut the guy some slack because it is his first review. And I am sure he would not handle the firearm the same with someone around. He never pointed at himself only at the camera. With that said, some of the comments are promoting unsafe practices. You never rely on a mechanical device to tell if a gun is un-loaded. If you have not visually checked the chamber you can not say the gun is unloaded. You have to look or feel to be 100% sure. Everytime up pick it up you check it.

@dblgonzo - Totally agree.. I wouldn't trust a loaded chamber indicator over physically inspecting it.. I've heard too many stories about even prior/ current military out in civilan world that have been killed thinking their weapon was unload when it wasn't.. It only takes a few seconds to visually inspect your weapon and it is a simple step that should NEVER be overlooked.

The P345 is a great gun, personally I believe it WOULD be Ruger's best .45acp pistol, except for all the safety mechanisms that go along with it and the fact that the slide is attached to the polymer frame itself and not some metallic insert, too much fluff. The recoil is quite pleasant for a lightweight polymer framed pistol as this type, it feels more of a push instead of the barrel wanting to come back.

@thisdaywakes - You do know that when people say "pipe" it is often referred to as the chamber/barrel ? chamber and barrel = the same shit unless you want to get technical and say the chamber is where the magazine and barrel meet but I have heard a lot of people refer to the barrel/chamber as "the pipe" so he isn't really out of context on his terms in my opinion.

You can clearly see with the slide back with the mag in that the weapon was clear.. Hey josh...in addition to what you reviewed...I thought I might add that the Ruger P345 will NOT fire if there is no mag in the mag well. Anyone that doesn't believe me put a bic pen in the barrel without the mag in it and pull the trigger. The pen won't move! ;-)

Has anyone else had an issue with loading full mags in this gun? when I go to load a full clip the slide lock releases without any force being applied to the slide lock. this causes the gun to load before I want it to. I sent it back to ruger and they shipped it back to me after 5 weeks with the same problem. any help?
