Now my biggest wish has become true .......... middle of august my beloved daughter contacted me via internet.

The second daughter - the older one - her sister and me are sure,

Due divorce i lost also my daughters .......... but now after 9 horrible years the situation changed.

I was very deeply touched by this rendition. i am in serious tears right now. I am not even close to being from the ww2 generation but there was a strong sense of sadness attached to this that sort of made me picture myself saying goodbye to a loved one off to war. amazing and moving little song!!!
