Dimitris, thanks for watching and commenting! There are MANY NY apartments and condos with balconies and full terraces/outdoor gardens. But many apartments were built without code clearance for balconies and some architects didn't plan them. Balconies are not popular in NY for families with small children or babies (safety issue), but they are very popular for singles or couples without kids.
Thnx for the answer! I had this question because here in Greece the balconies are very popular instead of other European countries where rarely balconies are seen. I guess and because of aesthetic purposes... Though as I saw many apartments at N.Y have balconies as you said which made me happy! :)
Thanks for watching and commenting! It's fun to see a project go from blueprint stage to finished project. Irwin is very good at what he does! All the best, Jay
np, i agree with you it is fun to see a project etc... i always want to become a fashion designer in nyc. it just my dream:)it just like irwin did designing manhattan apartment:)
This, of postwar apartment, drafting table presentation includes some fashion designer drawings and demonstrates the moving towards draft - from something like 3 dimensional charcoal sketch to (closer to) 2 dimensional floorplan. (amateur's opinion)
Thank you, Sam. Imagine doing the same type of thing for over 20 years; you start to become better at it. But I do enjoy going into a client's space and thinking about it as a practical everyday situation. Blueprints, floorplans, and sketches seem very alive to me. Glad you liked the quick video on this process, Sam. (And thanks for the glasses comment!) All best regards, Irwin
i very like it..thank you~
