Maybe add the "stars" option as a sub option to the new "Like-don't like" feature. Logically, this would give more flexibility, while maintaining the new design. Sometimes a video is just ok or mediocre. Therefore, the additional (optional) star system quality meter would better help users in there video selections and creation.

The current system now says simply "Good" or "Bad," The new and improved system could say "Good...(optional)how good?" or "Bad...(opt.)how bad?" like the flag system.

I've thought this for a while: YouTube--compared with other video upload sites--has a terrible interface. I have to sift through so much junk to find any good videos. Even the "most viewed" are trashy, the best part being the thumbnails, which are absurdly deceptive.
