  • why jazz net??? BBKING IS NOT BLUES?

  • This is so fucking hot.

  • cuanto vigor, entusiasmo le imprime aún con su más de 80 años el gran B. B. KING, GRACIAS por subir este muy buen material

  • Fantastic!!

  • What is the name of the second song?

  • Comment removed

  • @adenketr over again

  • @adenketr I Got a Mind to Give Up Living

  • You in the jungle lol

  • I WANT TO MOVE TO THE JUNGLE

  • Black music still means Blues, it depends of your knowledge and of your state of mind.

  • ha you will see waiting you to teach me

  • it's funny to see BB beginning the first song with an elmore james lick, but then his style is so different in the solo. james was, of course, a slide master.

  • what is the name of the second song about the letter in bed?

  • @TheJorisDouma over again

  • 2:19 had shivers down my spine when BB just said that he got a good mind to give up living.

  • he had a jazz tone

  • also just turned 18 and want to learn what fun is all about

  • Who in the world would dislike this???

  • I heard him in 1976 in a smaller club, and it was wild, like being in holy church. The many ladies in the audience had the calling out thing going all night, and he timed everything exactly right to keep them excited. But i think he sang even better in the 1960's, this is proof. He can still play guitar even now, though.

  • 9:23 minutes in heaven

  • My own vibrato is completely copied from BB King. He has the greatest vibrato ever...fact.

  • @PPONSNOW I'm glad you have one too but it doesn't really matter what kind of instrument you use. What's important is if you play with FEELING and get a good sound. Plus this isn't really jazz anyway.

I guess if you want, you can check out my band's new video, "Modern Jazz Clinic" if you want to see it played properly. But do me a favor and go to the bathroom before you come over.

  • Happy Birthday B.B.!!!

  • Happy Birthday, Blues Boy!

  • We all agree about his fantastic guitar but also what a voice !!!

    A true artist

  • 1968, when black music meant blues, not rap...

  • @PBANDSNOW you can listen to both

  • @PBANDSNOW I'm black and I can halfway understand what you mean. I'm also 24 and I can appreciate music such as BB King from the days of old and today's music. Although a good percentage of rap now is garbage with a money-first mindset, there are still real artists and lyricists that produce good rap..

Now question for you..would it be racist to call the Rolling Stones or Lady Gaga "white" music? I think so . I would like to get a point in America where music can be just MUSIC, without color!

  • @mysterybat35 I know what your saying. I was taking a dump a couple of minutes ago and couldn't get the song "Kick In The Door" by Biggie out of my head. The thing is though, "black" music is called black music because originally, when people thought of black people as different, it was made by African Americans (i felt strange saying black so many times) for African Americans. Where as "white" music has always been kind of non denominational. If you understand what Im saying.

  • @PBANDSNOW The definition of black music has merely been broadened, not altered.

  • @baksug Thats a great way of putting.

  • @PBANDSNOW There's nothing wrong with Hip Hop. As a matter of fact, the blues and rap have many similarities. It's black music too. Remember that. I love and appreciate both of them very much b/c I embrace them as very much apart of our culture.

  • @Kamaria7 Don't get me wrong, rap can be fantastic. Tupac's writing is compared to Kurt Cobain's, Biggie Smalls could improv the same way Joe Strummer could. It's just that modern Hip Hop is no where near what it used to be, so different, in fact, that it wouldn't hurt to call it something else, to avoid confusion, if you know what I'm saying.

  • @PBANDSNOW Oh I gotcha and I agree. :-)

  • @PBANDSNOW Why does it have to be black music? Music is music, get it right.

  • @PBANDSNOW- Correction: 1968, when black artists made the best music in all genres.

  • @Raughwe I disagree.

  • not only great guitar, but the whole band....the ultimate hammond b3 sound...awesome

  • I'm seeing BB King and Buddy Guy tomorrow (August 26) in concert!

  • @GuitarBlues3 extremely jelous!!!

  • PRAISE THE GOD OF BLUES !!

  • in his prime here

  • BB made some very respectful comments about our own, uk guitarist, Peter Green, and listening to this, I can see that the respect was mutual.

  • THIS MUSIC IS GARBAGE!!!!!!

Now that I've gotten your attention.....THIS MUSIC IS THE SHIZ

  • the king is in my house that's BB KING

  • doc......everybody has different tastes,if you havent figured that out bby now, your dumber than a bag of hammers,or as drunk and lonley as me...........relax,youll be dead soon.

  • The closest anyone can come to this stuff is to sample it.

  • bb king is so overrated and SRV is literally a joke. I can't believe blues guitarist worship this genericsm. Try out jb hutto, sonny terry, slim harpo, john l hook, guitar slim, hound dog taylor, jimmy reed, juinor kimbrough, little walter, alan wilson. there is a slobbering love affair with bbking in and im sick of it, and if u think stevie ray even plays actual blues, ure wrong, he's just a generic jammer with a horrible voice that should be confined to local commercials

  • @DoctorRazzArea4 youre right, BB even says that he's intemidated by todays artist who have all them fancy chords that they learn quickly, most of then guys were just playin in chitlin circuits and BB was one of the lucky ones that got national airtime, My dad can throw some fancy blues licks but he's not popular, so it aint what you know its who you know!!

  • @DoctorRazzArea4 I guess things don't work this way, my friend. SRV is not a blues player, of course, he is more a rock one. BB too, not blues, not straight blues what you may Little Walter way of playing it. But, yep, B.B. King is the greatest name in Chicago Blues and that you can't deny

  • Perhaps my favorite era of BB's playing and singing.

  • Second song, first solo: 100 % pure magic mainlined into your soul.

  • PQP essa é demais, só faltou o POKER .rsrs (:

  • Bobburnnquist is retarded.

  • Sex to my ears...

  • Tipo to sem fazer nada vou mandar um Jazz, os caras são fera mui fera ....

  • The only other blues guitarist equal to BB King was Stevie Ray Vaughn...

  • @57jeaux So sorry to have to inform you of the fact that SRV was a shadow of Albert King. Albert was ALWAYS the Master and SRV the student. BB said that Earl Hooker was the greatest ever and wouldn't let him on stage with him because he was SO good.

  • this fucker thinks he can play the blues? who the fuck does he think he is?

  • @BobBurnnquist

    mm, BB King?

  • its is very must wonderfull

  • what the second song called? thanks

  • I love you B.B.!!!!

  • B.B. King muito bom!!!

  • I love the honesty in his music, go B.B. King!

  • hes looks the frekin same after 40ish later years

  • Anybody knows the names of the songs played?

  • Soy hombre, bien machito y Te AMo.!

  • You Can Hear The Groove!!!!

  • Thank you B.B. KING !!!!!

  • how bozo is that funeral march insert...

  • Jazz musicians are the best cuz they have to improvise their almost whole song

  • @pepi560 a blues players too well some of us do!

  • can you believe that the metal band the scorpions already existed at that time ...

  • 45 people listen to Justin Beiber

  • @jord008 haha you're right)

  • he is playing at glastonbury, its going to be epic

  • i cant belive im about to see him live!

  • I believe that is Duke Jethro on the keys.

  • wow.....he loves his music.....

  • holy fuck who is that on piano... that guy is so groovy......so precise.... awesome... damn.... i want those keys....

  • @codehendrix R.I.P James Toney, .. Rockin' the keys for BB King for over 30 years. Passed away in 2007, sad to say...

  • @codehendrix thats mr. james toney, he played with bb until he died three or four years ago.

i've never been so happy to be this sad

  • No buddy feels it quite like BB

  • No buddy feels it quite like BB

  • Has anyone out there ever heard that B.B. King made the statement that he was not that good at playing chords on the guitar? I had heard that but I'm not sure if its a true account.

  • @buzzfuzz146 No I've heard that too

  • B.B. made the "I ain't too good at chords" in the movie Rattle and Hum with U2. I think he was joking, but only B.B. knows for sure.

  • @buzzfuzz146 I could imagine he wants to say he "can't" play the rhythm section and only likes to solo or sing

  • I CAN NOT UNDERTSTAND WHO CAN DISLIKE THIS MUSIC. I THINK THEY ARE GENIUS.

  • Thats blues musicians for ya, callin blues jazz. Yep, never gets old.

  • is it just me or does he play a lot of the same licks in all of his songs? (nothing wrong with that jw)

  • @TheGrantCave there is no licks in blues, only feel

  • @bantenzSkid that makes absolutely no sense. you don' t need to try to sound intelligent, I just wanted an answer.

  • @TheGrantCave then it is yes
