just like episode 7, this graphic ends with battler telling crying loli-ange that the story she heard was not right or something (kinda blanking up on me a little), and episode 8 is where battler tells the story(i've only read half of ep 8, so i don't know everything)

So far, they have translated the first 7 and have released a patch that covers 50% of the 8th and final VN. They have links on their website to purchase the games, and their patch is free to download and easy to install. There is a free demo for EP1 that you could try out to see if you like the VNs. :)

Did anyone else cry either in this video or reading the VN when Eva confronts Kyrie and Ange learns that what she's seeing is the truth? Just the emotional shock of seeing your aunt and mother fighting, and the image of your parents denying you as a child and furthermore exposing themselves as cold murderers, her reaction just breaks my heart :'(

Now, question. With RED TRUTH in the context of "There were no more than 18 people...", does it include corpses? Does it exclude split personalities? Does it include/exclude magical beings? I've been trying to decipher it myself, but GOLD TRUTH is the only truth I've grasped fully so far.

@Android2137 Indeed! RED TRUTH in general still seems quite sketchy. It simply states something that you have to accept without going into detail, unlike the GOLDEN TRUTH. For example, it was stated in RED that there were 18 people on the island. It never said anything about a person's death (Kinzo) or someone having multiple personalities (Yasu = Shannon / Kanon) which could count as 2 people.
On a sidenote, I always had a feeling that someone like Shannon was too good to be true...

By the way, what is the criteria for GOLDEN TRUTH? It's never directly stated, but here's what I have gathered:
- It must be backed up by solid evidence.
- If stating a person you must state their first AND last name.

I love how Umineko flips your emotions over. I started out hating Beatrice for doing all of this to that family, but I now I adore her character and dislike 'certain' other characters. It's just amazing how wonderfully complicated it is. I wish more people would give it a chance instead of complaining how hard it is to understand. :\

Okay, so let me get this straight. KYRIE solved the Epitaph and she and RUDOLPH started merking people?! THEN Eva killed Kyrie and hid Kyrie's true feelings about Ange from her? Battler finally remembers? Is this truly the last chapter? Or is there ONE more? I feel stupid for asking so many questions.

Eva despite her plan of giving half to the successor and 2.5 bil to each of the others says they all get equal share. A fight breaks out. Natsuhi is shot in the face. Krauss too. Kyrie then comes up with the plan. Shoots Eva, Hideyoshi and Rosa. Then Rudolf and Kyrie go up and try to kill everyone else. The shot grazed Eva so she didn't die...
@ZelestialCodiac Well, in the actual VN, when Bernkastel says in red: "This is the truth-". She was about to say something else but Ange cut her off, got pissed, and turned into burger. In EP8 she basically says that this is the truth but not necessarily the whole truth. There's some bits left out. Also, the ending in EP8 that shows what happened after is really bittersweet. Ange, because of the truth, won't get her family back. But she meets "Toya" who is connected to Battler... Kinda.

Kyrie's motive may have been that she was a greedy bi***. The 1 bil card was the only thing she could use as money. The gold is unmarked so she wouldn't get anything out of that. So she decided that she'll make it look like an accident and have the 1 bil by herself and Rudolf. If Battler didn't want to come along, screw him.
@XclampxanimeX there is no "Beatrice" nor Shannon, nor Kanon, the 3 of them were just personalities created by Yasu, AKA "the man from 19 years ago", that suppousedly died, s/he was saved by Doctor Nanjo and grew as one of the servants. S/he fell in love with Battler, who made the promise to come back for him/her in a white horse, but Battler didn't came back, which is supposed to be Battler's sin. Then s/he created the other personalities, Kanon -> Jessica and his/her love for Battler was tran.
*transefered to the Beatrice personality, leaving Shanon to love George, Kyrie unveiled the mystery of the epitaph and got the gold, then along with Rudolph went on a killing spree in order to kill everyone, Eva survived and promised to no let loliAnge discover the truth about her parents. Battler also survived, trying to escape the island in a submarine, but lost his memories trying to save Shannon/Yasu/Whatever from drowning, the whole series is Battler as Hachijo Toya trying to remember
@XclampxanimeX You got the basic gist of it. But Kyrie missed her shot when she hit Eva and it only grazed her. Eva, surprised, fell down and was assumed dead. She recovered, grabbed a gun, and killed Rudolf after he killed George, then hunted down the bitch and shot her. Kyrie made some speech on how useless Ange is to her now that Rudolf is dead and that kids are only bonds between people. So when Eva got custody of Ange, she hid the truth so Ange remembers her family only in a good light.

there has to be a UMG (umineko motion graphic) 9 in the works or at least there should be one.
if i'm not mistaken, UMG 5 is a recollection of episodes 1-4, so UMG 8 is actually for episode 7.
Hence, the final episode still does not have a motion graphic.

I love how Umineko flips your emotions over. I started out hating Beatrice for doing all of this to that family, but I now I adore her character and dislike 'certain' other characters. It's just amazing how wonderfully complicated it is. I wish more people would give it a chance instead of complaining how hard it is to understand. :\

Okay, so let me get this straight. KYRIE solved the Epitaph and she and RUDOLPH started merking people?! THEN Eva killed Kyrie and hid Kyrie's true feelings about Ange from her? @TheBeastBandit Almost, the adults solved the riddle, found the gold and Beatrice. Beatrice converted a billion yen in gold to cash and gave it to them. Eva despite her plan of giving half to the successor and 2.5 bil to each of the others says they all get equal share. A fight breaks out. Natsuhi is shot in the face. Krauss too. Kyrie then comes up with the plan. Shoots Eva, Hideyoshi and Rosa. Then Rudolf and Kyrie go up and try to kill everyone else. The shot grazed Eva so she didn't die...

@ZelestialCodiac Well, in the actual VN, when Bernkastel says in red: "This is the truth-". She was about to say something else but Ange cut her off, got pissed, and turned into burger. In EP8 she basically says that this is the truth but not necessarily the whole truth. There's some bits left out. Also, the ending in EP8 that shows what happened after is really bittersweet. Ange, because of the truth, won't get her family back. But she meets "Toya" who is connected to Battler... Kinda.

She flipped her lid and pwned him. She hunted Kyrie and after Kyrie's confession that children only tie you down and are only bonds between people to make sure their together, Eva kills her too. Battler is oblivious. he doesn't know sh-. Eva got custody of Ange after and hid the truth so Ange won't hate...

@TheBeastBandit ... her parents. That's what happened in EP7 and is the truth. But not everything is necessarily the truth. EP8 will show what happened after the incident. Kyrie's motive may have been that she was a greedy bi***. The 1 bil card was the only thing she could use as money. The gold is unmarked so she wouldn't get anything out of that. So she decided that she'll make it look like an accident and have the 1 bil by herself and Rudolf. If Battler didn't want to come along, screw him.

@XclampxanimeX there is no "Beatrice" nor Shannon, nor Kanon, the 3 of them were just personalities created by Yasu, AKA "the man from 19 years ago", that suppousedly died, s/he was saved by Doctor Nanjo and grew as one of the servants. S/he fell in love with Battler, who made the promise to come back for him/her in a white horse, but Battler didn't came back, which is supposed to be Battler's sin. Then s/he created the other personalities, Kanon -> Jessica and his/her love for Battler was tran.

Battler also survived, trying to escape the island in a submarine, but lost his memories trying to save Shannon/Yasu/Whatever from drowning, the whole series is Battler as Hachijo Toya trying to remember

@XclampxanimeX You got the basic gist of it. But Kyrie missed her shot when she hit Eva and it only grazed her. Eva, surprised, fell down and was assumed dead. She recovered, grabbed a gun, and killed Rudolf after he killed George, then hunted down the bitch and shot her. Kyrie made some speech on how useless Ange is to her now that Rudolf is dead and that kids are only bonds between people. So when Eva got custody of Ange, she hid the truth so Ange remembers her family only in a good light.

At 3:59, there's a part where the kanji and romaji lyrics don't match at the end.
The kanji just has "hi ni", but the romaji has "hi bi ni"

@kyuubinokitsune13 Well, I was going along with how the word was pronounced, and you can distinctly hear "hibi". It was probably either a mistake by the lyrics printed in the album, or the singer got it wrong. Or it could have just been the source which I got the lyrics from. Anyway, I still think that this is better. >.<
