This is my all time favourite film. Tykwer is a genius. The trailer doesn't show the film off at all. The story, the sparse music, the cinematography all come together perfectly...

I seen this movie recently, and being a big fan of foreign cinema (ie anything other than Hollywood) I assumed this would be a good movie, but........hmmm, it had potential to be a good movie but it was a little too much. A bit unbelieveable in places, naive, lacking in plot and senseless to be honest, the only good part were the frequent Arvo Part songs.

Der Soundtrack zu diesem Film ist einfach genial. Die Musik ist wie ein Stich ins Herz. Verstehe nur nicht, warum dieses scheusliche Lied für den Trailer ausgesucht wurde.Übrigens kann man paar Songs vom Soundtrack auf Tykwers offiziellen Seite runterladen.

I had no idea that tom tykwer directed this movie! He is a beautiful and brilliant director! Run Lola Run is obviously great but his film Winterschläfer (Winter Sleepers) is brilliant and visually masterful, it is also my favorite of his films. His use of music in film is also something to be reckoned with.

I loved the movie as much as i despised the Hollywood ending (i'm aware that it was a european movie with a mostly european cast).

I mean what could have been making more sense then them proving their everlasting love for one another by paying the ultimate price with a little help from the trigger happy law enforcement- or at least escaping in a realistic fashion- leading to an open ending.

This film should have a "Warning: Ultimate Spoiler in the End" tag on it.

I think that movie lost everything from Krzysztof Kieślowski movies. If KrzysztoF Kieślowki didn't dead directed this film better. (I don't know english very well :)

Well, with all due respect, this isn't a Krzysztof film, he didn't even finish writing this trilogy as he did with his previous epic works, it's simply unfair to judge it as Krzysztof film in the vien of red, white or blue - and quite a bit more apt to judge it as a tykwer film and as such, i feel it's his best to date. In short, judging a film based on Krzysztof's writing to the films he wrote and directed is a grossly unfair and unrealistic exercise.
