She was the main star of Clan of the Cave Bear - the film took a real beating by the critics and fans of the book - but it's still worth a watch - the cinematography and score are both beautiful - and she is stunning in Legal Eagles & Roxanne.

She hated making Wall Street and went on to star in High Spirits ( a ghost comedy that is worth a watch ) Steel Magnolias, Crazy People , At Play in the Fields of the Lord & Memoirs of an Invisible Man, which led up to the early 90s.

I was the biggest Daryl fan growing up and fell in love with this blonde amazonian godess when I first saw her in Splash. I scowered the video store to rent every flick she was in and clipped pics of her from magazines and newspaper, a bit obsessive in my youth. I may even have the Daryl scrap book hidden away somewhere in my closet. Daryl will always have a place in my childhood memory as the most beautiful actress I ever saw. To be young again :(

Daryl is an underrated actress which gets to few good roles.I loved to see her play an bad character in Kill Bill for once.Too bad she hasn't got any kids of her own and is currently single.She deserves kids.Oh,and I wish I was in the video "feel" with her and not that weirdo Robbie Williams.
