i went on this ride when i was 9 and came off crying :/ i still cant go on this ride cause it scares the freak out of me! and my little cousin when on this ride when she was 6 and loved it :/ fml .

the first time i went on it the elevator went up to "say goodbye to the real world" then it went DOWN to the ghost sequence which was confusing

Not quite, the orlando one is unique; all the other ones look like the generic tower in cali, paris, and tokyo. Not to mention the orlando one is my favorite because of the different ride sequence.

I don't like that one as much as the one in Orlando. The only thing I liked about that one was the part where you see yourself on the ride. This one has a different boiler room, a weirdly shaped building, and you don't go through that creepy corridor before you drop. No like.

no, tats the one in florida, where its different every time. california's the same thing every time. first u drop after the pretend elevator drops, then u drop again, then u rush up to the tower. then u drop 2 stories, then u drop all the way down. its brings u back up just below the opening doorways at the top, and it drops u back down. then u go up, up again, and then all the way to the top. hangs u there for a couple seconds, then drops u down all the way to the very bottom. tats the ride.

did you know that when you see your self in the mirror, there's another elevator behind the mirror to create the effect it's weird

the elevator car u see behind the pepper glass is called a dummy car & they use thermal heating & special cameras to create your image. it's neat how they can come up w/ these effects.

Actually, so you know, the ride in Aneheim DOES move forward, just you can't tell from the video. I should know...i was forced on twice against my free will, and i HATE falling. LOL. D:

Just to clear things up, yea it does move forward at California but only about 10 or 15 feet so it can let you off the ride because your moved back into the shaft at the beginning of the ride

The ride is computer controlled. The sequence od drops and rises varies. So if you have been on the ride before you can not anticipate what exactly will happen.

I was in anaheim for 5 days this june, the first day i ride this ride 23 times, 2nd day 13 times, 3rd day 8 times 4th time 17 times, and the last day 12 times. The more I ride it, the more fun it is!!! Best ride in California Adventure
