The Hoenn Region is the first region to have it's own Pokémon League, and the Hoenn Region's three mascots, Groudon, Kyogre, and Rayquaza, are very important to the world of Pokémon; i.e., Groudon and Kyogre made the land and sea, they kept on fighting, Rayquaza stopped them, and controlled the skies. Plus, Pokémon Battle Frontier took place in Kanto, not Hoenn :P.

This has to be one of the BEST Japanese Openings. Honestly, I didn't like some of the earlier Japanese Opening themes because they sounded awkward (except the theme from Season 1) But there's something special to this one...hard to describe, but you can feel it when you listen to it :)
