7.3's are the best overall but 6.0's after head studs and egr delete and 6.4's after emissions removal are great engines that make lots of power easily.

I think it's funny all these people saying this truck's a 6.0, you're a liar etc. You guys sound pretty rediculous making these claims. Anyone who knows anything about these trucks knows how easy and common it is to put an 05-07 front end on a 99-04. AND, I don't know about you, but again, anyone that knows anything about these can distinguish the sound of a 6.0 and 7.3 from miles away. Ha oh and the lack of front coil springs...there's a few dead give aways here.

@1997stroker1 the 06 6.0s were the best engines ford has ever made, it has had the fewest problem reports compaired to any engine, gas or diesel. at the time also when i bought the truck, it was the year frame that those trucks were availible, had i known that 2 years later they came out with a new better engine, i wouldve waited, btw, the 6.0 has more horsepower and torque that the 7.3, also its got a better power to weight ratio due to the fact thats its 1.3 liters smaller

They do it because they like that front end better, but don't want to buy that year truck. It's a relatively simple swap to do and most people (minus you) feel that this is more attractive front end than the older ones.

@Cheapbikes Yes stock stance. Used to be 2" higher in the rear but I took it out for racing. The rims are 16x10's... slicks are 31" tall.
