@demosz1 mate, it was quite a while ago....around 70% of scandanavia are athiest as are the czech republic. In France, germany and the UK under 50% of the population believe in god. is this a good thing? yes. religion always fuck everyone over.

And in the EU memberstates the majority answered on the official census that she or he is a Christian so the majority has claimed her or himself to be a christian, that's because the Christianity is already very important in the universal European culture and among the people.

@EuropeanBrit DONT FORGET: We, European are very different, we belong to many nations we speak many languages, we have only one common attribution - wich is more or less already important - this is our Christian fait or our Judeo-Christian heritage. If you deny this, you deny whole Europe and the whole European project and unity. WE wont be able to build up a good-working common European "house" without the help of the Christianity.

@demosz1 reread history, im spanish, we had ancient civilizations tenths thousand years before any roman guy put a foot here, europe roots are far more antique than that new age 2.000 year only old christianity. and 4.500 ago there were already the first and natural religion JAINISM before any book of the bible was written, thousands years before any judeo christian prophet was born, before jesus, and before mahoma.

there is far more than u can imagine before those 2000 years you dont know.
