Still have this game and it works like a champion. This music takes me back so much, I think I'll have to play it again when I get home for spring break.

I love playing as a lot of the characters on this game, but none of them trump Wargreymon. That guy was my best character and he's an absolute beast. I rarely lost a fight with him back in the day. The only threat was from a friend who played as Renamon/Sakuyamon. What a cheap set of characters they were...

Actually, you can beat her with anyone, the only way to lose against her is to be a beginner or a real loser.

However, it's not the same with reapermon : here you must know how to rumble...or it will be your ass who is going to be kicked. :D

Guilmon is another good choice. You can literally plow this guy with his Forward + X move where Guilmon does a simple headbutt attack. Keep doing it back and forth and Reapermon gets stunned.

Personally, Renamon is easy to fight against, long as you happen to time it just right. Guilmon and Reapermon make it almost unfair for the Renamon player in my opinion.

When i first faced reapermon i was scared as crap, an shocked that i beat him with wormmon! i was always naturally good with wormmon, his moves were really easy to cope with aerial combos :) i still hate reapermon

Usually the trick is to stay as far away from the fucker as possible... But that's not very possible with Veemon now is it?

@SHIZAMProductions same for Impmon. while Impmon has long range attacks one disappers almost 2 seconds after it was launched the other one just few seconds later so none of them are useful. Other Digimon such as Wormon that have bad range have pretty much attacks that you can spam(Wormon,Guilmon,Wargreymon­...) or attacks that knock him out instantly(Patamon) and you pretty much win if you spam them

My friend kicked reapermon's ass pretty fast with Impmon. Everytime he had him knocked down he started this summoning attack. Reapermon tended to walk right into it.

It's good to know that there are some ways to get the upper hand on him.

Despite having to replace all the animé music, I think they did a good job of imitating the "style" of an animé theme tune - I can easily imagine this track, with lyrics, as the opening to a Digimon animé.

Note that this is the "Adventure/02" music - the Tamers digimon get a different theme when fighting Reapermon.

This game is the best Fight game I ever witnessed.. not even Digimon Rumble Arena 2 had a close match for it.... my favorite was Gatomon ^_^ I could beat ANY creature in it.. I beat my brothers.. my parents, and the whole neighbourhood with my kitty lol

He's actually pretty tough, but if you nail him with some lucky combos and blocks, he can be a breeze, even on medium or hard, but just watch out for the Rage Cyclone, otheriwse you're talking about a serious beating with reaper slasher and bone duster afterwards, afterwhich you will still be confused and just get nailed without even being able to move!
