Weird I swear the roads like a bit like what we have here in Dorset, I mean for a moment I thought this was Bournemouth that was until I noticed the licence plates looked different.
The fire department you have down-under even have the same type SCANIA that Dorset fire department has. I guess that’s why I got a bit confused? Well at least the fire was put out that’s the main point and no injuries.
@harrychown1989 not all all i was just commenting but people dont move over for fire and ems unlike in the rest of the world because in america people are self centered and care only if its about them
they went with tomar for the light bars on several trucks as nautech could not keep up with the number of new sprinters being brought into service. the sound awful and the control box is very average to use..... big and bulky
yeah, there seem to be a few that have the tomat box with the red nautech lights. only two that i know of with the clear and red ones like on that truck (wigram 1 and rangiora 1) very very bright at night to the point of being blinding!
4 trucks nationally had tomar lights and controls as a trial. Expect to see nationwide changes when new ambulance electrical specifications are implemented.
I don't think a few seconds were going to make any difference under those circumstances. I'm surprised they even had their lights on, because it wasn't exactly Priority-1 anymore...
Holy shit, change the siren tone already :L

@WFD9 Yes but in America, the fire crews love to play silly buggers with the sirens.

Funny how that cop didnt use his siren when he was at the intersection is it some producure when its a fatal?
dmmmac2 2 years ago
Yea alrite maybe but still if they had the beacons on you would expect some noise at the intersection

Great footage, but pretty sad occasion...
Not so sure about the light package on that ambo, the usual Nautech setup looks way better.

The lightbar looks great when you see it, Look closely it's red and white!!
NZPOLICE1010 2 years ago
