Busa = Cruiser with a once record-breaking top speed.

Busa = FASTER in top speed but trust me, try driving one.. HARD to launch from standstill, its weight transfer is BAD at 0mph! Wheel spin is so easy to do :(

that is spot on the highest top speed of a r1 is actually 286kph and that was bone stock.they suck at top end power and of course it has somthing to do with the massive torque on the hayabusa that helps you a lot at top end acceleration and top speed attempt...but no hayabusa jet have gone the true 200mph GPS speed but it will.and i am talking official.. the fun part was when we tested the 1000cc group NO one past the 180mph only a old suzuki k5 gsx-r 1000. but i weigh 205-210. measured by vbox

i have taken a ride on both of them.....i own a 2004 R1....my buddy has a 'busa.......2004 R1 is definitely faster than the 2008 'busa in terms of acceleration.......jst consider a drag race.....it takes a lead by about a quarter of a second but the 'busa catches on at around 9000rpm thanks to its bigger displacement....

in terms of top speed, 'busa is way ahead, but due to better Power to Weight ratio of the 2004 R1, it is better in terms of acceleration...
