Is there more info you can currently give about what your doing with the gay faith thing you are doing? Im also a gay christian and would love to be apart of something like that.
In terms of Your religion you still do believe, However, I would like to know whats your stance towards other religions? and perhaps their views on homosexuality as well?
ok so here something about religion it does nt matter wat type u praise the same BEING(GOD) and church/temple/or wat ever ur HOLY PLACE is called it is ment to be a place were like minded ppl come together and worship remember all HOLY BOOKS say JUDGEMENT IS NOT MANS PLACE BUT IS GOD'S PLACE IT IS MAN/WOMANS PLACE TO ACCEPT AND ACCEPT ONLY NEVER CONFUSE THE TWO
Thanks for your comments. Everybody comes to his own conclusions on this. For some it's a big leap to say that homosexuality is OK when St Paul speaks so strongly against it - but then he also has strong things to say about how women should act that few people believe today. Then there are Jesus' teachings on the permanence of marriage that a lot of Christians don't practice. In the end you have to follow your conscience.
@Perrofeo25 Yeah you have to take a lot of that stuff into the context of the beliefs during that time period and the culture that was in place at the time.
Gays are much more accepted in England and most of the rest of Europe than they are in the US, and I think a lot of that is because of the huge influence of organized religion here. We are supposed to have a secular form of government, but you wouldn't know that to talk to almost any politician. I believe that when you are older, if you use your brain to think and reason, you will see what I mean. Best wishes to you.
@MrMusiclover41 That slightly offended me since it implied that I was not using my brain to think or reason. I never said that religion was perfect, all I said is that there are people who are trying to change the way religion has shut out LGBT's. There is no other way to fix the way things are over here in comparison to other countries except to do something about it. That is what we are trying to do. Things have gotten better and people becoming more accepting every day.
About the same time I entered the Navy many years ago, I ceased to believe all that religious garbage, and in recent years, have become an agnostic, and now, an athiest. I don't see a way to reconcile most of the mainstream organized religions with being gay. They will NEVER accept it. I despise hypocrites, and I'm sorry, but a huge portion of the so-called Christians are hypocrites. About the only organized religion I might recognize is the Unitarians. I enjoy your videos, by the way!
@MrMusiclover41 I will agree with you and say that yes, there are many hypocrites in religion in general, however to throw all of us in together is incorrect. There are many people in the church who are becoming more accepting and movements have sprung up all over for accepting LGBT persons into the church. RMN has grown a lot since it first started and there are even LGBT ministers who are teaching at churches now.
I loved ur coat u looked hot in it:-) I had 2 wach this vid twice I was lost because u r wearing that coat:-) Beleave in what u think not what others think I think that what u said that u do.
I can't tell what religion you are by looking at your face. You look like a human being to me. I was in the Navy and liked the church in boot camp....sing songs and have a nice talk. Then off to lunch and relax the rest of the day. Take care dude and be aware of God always. That's all that matters.

Yeah, religion is getting more tolerant of the LGBT community and I think most of the homophobia stems from the older generations.
