This is one of my first favorite Christians songs after I came in to church in 1991. I felt the H.G. when I listened to it a few minutes ago, AWESOME, what ever happened to him?? now he has Alzheimers disease. so sad.
maybe he kids should pray that they find a cure for Alzheimer. such a sad way to go. all the greats are dropping, and we'll be stuck with the top 40 clones :( cant wait for his new album!
I am so glad that Glenn Campbell found the Lord and is using his abilities and the story of his children's prayers to point the way to our risen Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ.

that's a wonderful song that I had loved long on audio cassette... I have found it back after a long long time,.... God bless for posting this....... It's a really beautiful song.... God bless!
Great song, great singer and especially Great Savior Jesus! I really enjoy seeing Glen jumping around as he sings with such emotion and heart to his King and mine.
Praise the Lord we will all one day be jumping around and singing gloriously in our heavenly home with the Lord!
I think it's a great song, and I like Glen Campbell. But the joke about the Irish priest preaching hellfile and asking his congregation to stand up if they want to go to heaven is not apt because there's really no such thing as hellfire preachin' (at least according to that definition) in the Catholic Mass. It would've been funnier if it were a Baptist or Pentecostal preacher.
I think that Glen didn't make it reference to BAPTIST OR Pentecostal..where probably most of the people sitting in the odience where likely that bible-based types; being that said, it was just to lighten up the service that night. I laughted it was funny.
I was raised catholic/now borne-again faith mixed.

What i love about this clip is that it's completely raw, no studio additives or anything... and his voice is just pure and strong as anything! Gotta love Glenn! And this is probably my favorite song to hear him sing too, it's so personal.
I completely agree.... I prefer this version to the CD version quite a bit. There are quite a few clips on here of him with huge orchestras, it is just great to hear the clarity of his voice live. Just him and his guitar!
Excellent. Great song - beautifully delivered in a heartfelt performance. Amazing quality - audio was fanastic. Glen Campbell is one of the best ever. Thanks to dsimpson41 for posting it.
i think this is a great song, and glen sings it great. you could even just changed the name to someone else for a wedding or something, i think it would sound great.
Phil Driscoll led me to Jesus Christ on January 7, 1996 in Stockton, CA. Glen Campbell, the artist for whom he composed "Jesus and Me" has been my musical hero for decades. I sing and play guitar in church, and I play trumpet in the church orchestra. This video is special. Thank you.

The thing about Glenn is that he ranks up there with Johnny Cash, John Denver, ect.. Whatever he decides to do is OK with me!
