Everywhere on earth we have found life. In the most extreme seemingly inhabitable conditions. Earth is a small Child of the Mother universe. We are just one of billions of creations in her universe.
I came here to see the Icecube planet. I've heard of it when I was 10 but now... I completely forgot its name. The only clue to it that I know is that it is made purely out of water and even deep down the ocean's bottom you won't find ground, you will only find Ice 7.
@Harogrim You might be referring to Gliese 581c, which was described as such in another documentary. Unfortunately, that was just a "What if" scenario. We haven't found any planets with water on them yet.
Just imagine how much farther, scientifically, we could be if humans didn't constantly over whose God is real? We should have stations on the Moon and Mars by now, harvesting energy and materials.
@subatomicparticle83 when was that long before quran that nasa sent space crafts exploring planet mars and finding frozen waters under the surface ? i dont recall the nasa existing before quran , you are free to think whatever you want about quran or any other idea/religion/ fact .
but thanks for rubbing the "quran is bs" on my face again , i bet you are some educated scientist ,i will give you a hint , there NO life elsewhere than planet earth , you go spend trillions of dollars on finding nil
@momo11405 first of all, water being on mars doesn't mean shit, alright. it doesn't prove anything and has nothing to do with a verse in the quran. water is just one of the many elements. there's nothing special about water. and second, there are hundreds of billions of galaxies, each with hundreds of billions of solarsystems. how the fuck do you know there's no life on all those other planets?! we don't even know for sure there's no life, other than on this planet, in our own solar system.
@momo11405 there's also a verse in the quran that says mountains are supposed to prevent earthquakes and a verse that says sperm comes from one of the inner organs. the quran is bs and fails at science. people knew life was water based long before the quran even existed.
Life just needs some kind of electromagnetic energy to be life,it doesn't necessarily need to be star light,however for life to reach advanced forms,star light is probably ideal.
I think civilized life will have come from planets similar to our own,with oceans,land,and an atmosphere.
Discussions about the possibility of extraterrestrial life are WAY more interesting than boring astronomy topics. Lets face it measuring stars and studying galaxies moving apart from each other is pretty dull.
@UfoHunter94 ikr this realy interesting because there is no life in our solar system but out in the univers in another galaxy probable there is a whole galaxy full of like :}
@TurboTheTurtwig you probably i am scare that if we all die what will happen next another life ? been born in another galaxy been a quadruped ? its scary when u ask your self that question what if there is no life and when we die nothing happens pure nothing :{
@TurboTheTurtwig oh well i am not that worry about death i'm just scare that if there will be no more humans and if there is no life any where alse there probably we're F*** lol .-. but i mean the new planet they discover probably has some life like i mean if there is water and air to breath well doesn't matter about the air b cus i men they could have adapted but if there is water there is a possible organism / specie living there don't u think ? lol and yeah death is just like eternal sleep.
@blueskyangel100 who said there's no life in our solar system? din't you watch the vid? there's still a small chance we can find life in this solar system.

We could be exploring the galaxy a whole lot more if the Dark Ages never happened.

Why wasn't this all over the news? Life can grow without sunlight, that's AMAZING.

@momo11405 They found a planet that most likely bears life, idiot.
Two in fact, in the same solar system.
Helge129 8 months ago
@Helge129 Just because it can support life doesn't mean life emerged there.
AEVautomatic 8 months ago
@AEVautomatic I know, but everywhere on Earth where life could emerge, life did emerge.
Helge129 8 months ago
@Helge129 Nope, it only happened 1 time. There was only 1 self-replicating molecule it just reproduced everywhere.
AEVautomatic 8 months ago
@AEVautomatic Wrong. There were many self-replicating molecules. DNA arose everal times, and also was the one fastest to reproduce itself.
Helge129 8 months ago
@Helge129 There is no evidence of any competing DNA molecule ever existing.
AEVautomatic 8 months ago
@AEVautomatic It's hypothetical. But there is no way DNA was the first molecule to arise.
