  • Dalmation: "Yep, I got away with it again!"

  • why is she asking leeloo questions, it cant even speak.

  • So what ? Any dog will do that, and its kinda mean to do that just to do it .

  • its funny how people think ha so when a human kid does something bad and knows it and they make guilty faces and stuff like that i guess that means their parents beat them huh? no didnt think so, dogs are just the same as humans they just know!

  • i so do love leeloo :)

  • That's my boy dog 100%. I have two staffordshire terriers. One girl-Topaz, boy Amistad. Topaz is very good at following rules. Amistad is good but gets in the garbage at night if there were leftovers. As soon as we see him.. head down,& then he plops to the floor & rolls over to show submission. Its so hard to not laugh. They are great @ reading facial expressions, laughing would make him think its ok. I have had to leave the room before because of his look LOL. cute dogs!

  • Dog : Damn they got me. Human: Did you do this? Dog: Hope they dont kick me out Human: Lillu? Dog:Hope they dont kick me out Human: Why did you do this? Dog: Hope hey dont kick me out Human : Did you do this? Dog: Hope they dont kick me out Human : Lillu?? Dog: Hope they dont kick me out Human : Why did you chew that up? Dog : Hope they dont kick me out Human Lillu? Dog : God damn it stop asking me (1st) I dont understand and (2nd) I cant talk
  • how did i get here from annoying orange

  • I have a pit that acts the same way. You're a good momma like me I don't beat my pets but they know when they've done something wrong. :)

  • @ijkool69

You're just a stupid dickhead then abusing animals you are cruel and if I saw I would smash you across the face.

  • You are hollering at your doggie over a *tape dispenser*???? Really? Mean Mom!!! Mean Mom!!!

PS Go look at what else Leelu chewed up - it's under the bed, in the guest room. The tape dispenser was just a decoy. And it worked!! Smart doggie!!

    (;^)

  • When my dog is bad I kick him

  • thanks for sharing; you have a very good dog there who is obviously trained well/can be trained...whereas our family dog of 14 yrs would just look at us like "you have a problem with this? get over it!"

  • Look, unless the dog is missing patches of hair and starving stfu. Anti-spankers, as I call them, are so wrong. Not only do most of them fail to train their animals and/or children, but they condemn them to a life of never reaching their full potential. There are many ways to discipline that don't require spanking, but those require consistency. Dogs see you as the alpha, act like the alpha and see your animals/children truly happy.

  • awwwwww, so cute! I have a dog who hides in the bathtub and looks very guilty whenever he gets into trouble. It is easy to see that Leeloo is a sweetie :0)

  • Awwww...what a sweet little doggie!

Seems to be highly intelligent and very sensitive.

    Angel.

  • DAWWW!!!! LOL!!

  • My Eskimo does the same think. She knows when she is bad and gives herself away even before you find what she did

  • LOL!!!AWWW!

  • Lady, you're a ball buster.

  • lol I love that look, kinda reminds me of my bad ass dog XD

  • haha... i have a 3 year old collie labrador mix ...hes the same ...sometimes hes such a drama queen i have to hold myself back to not chuckle XD cute ... and its visible the doggy is guilty and reacts not because he got harmed before or hurted in any way ... im no animal expert or dog expert ..but thats for me a visible "oh i do the guilty number that works always XD=

    cute doggy <3

  • And that's why I love dogs :)

  • What kind of dog is she? Really sweet!

  • @creasicle I think she is a border collie or australian sheepdog

  • They don't know. That's just how they act when ur upset. Its appeasement. Very cute but try it on something she didn't do

  • @TurtlesToGo Ditto.

  • Thst was great my baby would hidden under a chair peeking out with guilty eyes!

  • My dog does this when she did something wrong. No abuse here, she's just a smart doggie with a conscience

  • I love how doggies squint their eyes when they're guilty. xD

  • the dog speaks French OMD = oh, mon dieu!

  • @ouestlelivre Hahahah good one xD

  • my dog does this too!!! he puts his tail in between his legs ad slinks away up the stairs slowly and hides I feel so bad for him :(

  • thats what oyu get for calling her leeloo

  • the other dogs like "haha u got in troubow"

  • Made me cry. Reminds me so much of my sweet Shilo.....she would do the same thing. If only she were still with me. Love your LeeLoo. Adorable.

  • Very cute. 2 of our dogs act the same way. It's so funny. Dogs are very intelligent.

  • This is the cutest Dog ever! I'm not a pet person but I would love one like her!

  • @MsMomof3boyz Thank you ... we love her just like a family member. You may not be a pet person, but I think that dogs are the best example of "unconditional love" ever. I see how important she has in my kids' lives, now that they are grown!

If you ever do decide to get a dog ... definitely get a collie. LeeLoo is a collie mix, and another dog we had was a collie. They are bred to be caretakers, and SMART. Thanks again for the kind comment.

  • Dogs chew things when they are bored .

  • Now thats acting

  • My dog chewed my box of condoms and that really pissed me off that night.

  • sweet baby...she feels so guilty!!

  • cute

  • my dog does this to, thay look like there scerd but realy there trying to get you to shut up lol

  • so cute

  • It always amazes me just how 'human' dogs are, she knows by your tone that something is wrong. Whatever idiot says you abused her needs to take their head out of their arse. Nice video :)

  • My dog Ty would tease me by running around with the chewed up duck tape in her mouth. she just loves messing with people and feels no shame about it.

  • hmm k, is it just me or was it just a small roll of tape? if it got no tape attached (as it wouldn't be good for the dog to chew), then why bothering so much? because of the perfect carpet now ruined with dirt?

  • @lucy0loves0music Dogs can't tell the difference between tearing up a roll of tape and chewing apart your laptop. Whenever a dog does something wrong- regardless of the severity- you should show them that you're disappointed. Inconsistent messages only lead to confusion.

  • My dog does this too, he definitely knows that when he does it, my family can't help but forgive him! aha

  • our dog does this too haha.

  • This must be the cutest thing ever! I don't see how people think she's abused. I mean, your tone is so kindly.

LeeLoo is the total opposite of my boyfriend's dog, Tucker. He tries to use guilt against people. What Tucker will do is when he doesn't want to do something/take a bath/whatever, he'll limp around like he is injured or has a broken leg... of course, he hasn't quite learned yet that every time that happens, they take him to the vet! I guess corgis are likely to do that stuff though.

  • At list lulu comes to you. Our dog in the other hand we know something is wrong as he hides himself from us. Than he pees on us sad but funny.

  • She is a cutie, and I love her name. My friend's dog Chloe does the same thing... She knooowwwsss

  • Oh my God, she's so cute, I want to hug her sooo much!!! *_*

  • Anthropomorphism my dear!

  • I don't understand that when someone puts up an animal video, everyone is suddenly an expert in dog behavior and the signs of abuse.

Get a grip, and be glad that the dog looks well fed, groomed, and has a home.

  • @JessFend Thank you!! She is spoiled rotten, and has been loved like any other family member for all of her 12 plus years. PLUS we do fostering for other dogs. People on youtube can be trolls. I am learning to just ignore them.

  • @JessFend While I agree with you that it's good for her to be in a loving home, I just wanted to let the owner know that the dog isn't feeling guilt. I never said anything about signs of abuse. I'm simply a concerned stranger trying to inform the owner of the new scientific studies in dog psychology.

  • @JessFend u are so rigth this dog is not abused my dog does the same thing when i come home and he has been a bad dog ,he does this b 4 i have seen what he has done and he onlye does it if he has done somthing bad ! it is NOT a reflektion of me qus i dont know at the time if he did somthing wrog and he usualy dosent so it has not b come a part off ouer greting ritual. in my eyes its a clear sign that u have a smart (clever ) dog and btw 2 all the haters look at the other dog :)

  • @JessFend that's because all these people maybe know that long monologue in punishing tone doesn't help, just adds stress... but whatever...

  • OMG Leeloo is adorable!

When my dog did this we had to try very hard not to laugh and forgive her. We also had a photo of when she was all submissive under the ironing table.

    I love dogs.

  • After 20 years and about 8 dogs, I can tell you that you could point the any object and say "Did you do this??" and the dog would act that way. Funny, yes... but necessarily a sign of guilt like the top comment said? No way. They just know from experience that you're not happy, hence the behavior.

  • @keviinmach I totally agree. Dogs don't feel guilty or shame. They just act with fear of someone angry, but they don't know why we are angry.

By the way, I don't think Lee-loo chewed the tape. I think it's more like a dalmatian behavior.

  • LeeLo is bowing before Zod!

  • My dog does the same thing, except he will raise his front paw up and sort of wave at you. hahahaha He's never been abused, either. It's how he reacts. Just like LeeLoo.

  • LeeLoo so CUTE!

  • LeeLoo GUiLTY!!!!!!!!!!!!! XD

  • lol that is wat my dog dogs!

  • wow, that is EXACTLY how my australian shepherd acts when he knows he has done something wrong (which really isn't very often at all, btw). and just like you, we have NEVER ever hit or hurt him in any way, however we didn't get him until he was 3 years old so we don't know what his life was like before us. but that's funny, i've never seen another dog give itself away and feel guilty before until yours, poor funny little thing :p

  • rofl she is asking an animal she knows that animals can't speak xD

  • BAD DOBBY! BAD DOBBY!

  • I can always tell which one of my dogs made the mess by which one is hiding by the back door with their tale tucked underneath them. Dogs know what they do, worst poker face ever.

  • Aaaww! So cute! I can imagine it is hard to stay angry haha.

  • PS: You remind me of Nurse Ratchet from One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest

  • Dogs are very emotional. This seems too much for this dog. The amount of suffering she experiences can't possibly match anything she did!

  • My dog does this too! He stalks very low to the ground the avoids eyecontact. Then I have to pet him to calm down xD

  • i meet my cousin like 7 years ago and they had a dog that when you said 'Who Did This' she starts to cry is incredible just like this dog never been abused we just love dogs

  • My dog "Hank" does the exact same thing...it is all I can do not to hug him up and love on him....he is so pitiful.....poor babies.... LOL

  • hahah its pack mentality, when i was a kid mom was the alpha, then me, then my brother, then our dog then my dad. yeah he didnt like dad very much

  • Oh my god! This dog is a sweetheart. :] So SMART.

  • My dog does this too. lol

  • Do you have any video's of your other dog? I can't believe how much he/she looks like my parents dog Cody.

  • @Hermiix36 How dare you speak to someone in that way!

I know what I am talking about. You guys with the whole dominance theory stuff probably enjoy watching the famous "salad man" dog bully. I can't use his name here because his bullying tactics extend to dog trainers who try to educate the public away from his methods.

Anyway, You tube is a fantastic resource but I have to say that I despair for the future of this planet when I read the tone and content of comments on the site.

  • @9buddysmum The tone and content of Youtube comments...? You live a very sad life if you dwell on things such as that.

It's called the power of anonymity, my friend. Even back in the 1800s, when someone's identity was anonymous, they often wrote more cynically and sarcastically than if others knew who they were. Humanity has always been like that. Get over it or go away.

  • My dogs do that all the time. A lot of dogs do it. Specially when they are raised not to do things like that and then they do.

  • Haha, my dog has the exact same look at actions when she chews something in the house.

  • My lab does the same thing if he poops in the house! too funny

  • It was a total frame job. The real culprit was the dalmatian chilling in the background.

  • @Cartridge hahah

  • @Cartridge yeah he was laughing too; waging his tail he was!

  • aaww she felt all guilty lol

  • dogs are very very very very smart thumbs up if agree :)

  • @yendor1152 she just put it up to make ppl laugh she not mean to the dogs she lives them very very very much I don't see u posting videos of ur dogs!!!! Please don't take this the wrong way thanks!!!

  • I agree with Yendor. Dogs do not do guilt. They respond to the here and now. This dog knows the owner is cross, but has absolutely no idea why. What you are seeing is extreme submissive, placatory behavior. The next option open to this poor dog is to flee or fight. This woman is a bully in my opinion, she must feel very big dominating her dog in this way. And I think she is playing a very stupid game which could end very badly.

  • @9buddysmum if all dogs go to heaven, dogs do guilt. watch the movie, you amateur.

  • @9buddysmum I beg to differ. Dogs are a lot smarter than you may think. I can tell you when I came home last month to find my reading chair torn up, I didn't say anything. I just looked around at all of my dogs. My lab and bichon barely paid any attention to me, but my rottweiler was sitting in the corner with his head bowed very low. He knew he had done something wrong, and showed guilt for it, even without me using any tone of voice or advancing on him at all.

  • @paschen2219 All comments with profanity are deleted. G'Bye!

  • LeeLoo: "I thought it was a toy... (-__-)"

  • My dog does this and there's no way you can stay mad. You just have to forgive her and tell her it's ok. xD

  • Did you do this? Why did you do this? Why did you chew this up?

Because she's totally going to answer you...

  • My dog, Remy, does the same thing!

  • Awwww, I couldn't be mad at that dog for to long. Yes, I'd give LeeLoo a strict talking-to but I'd immediately hug afterwards!

  • Do you beat your dogs when the camera is off????:(

  • that was so cute the way she kept squinting and blinking and my dog acts the same way when he's in trouble he'll tuck his tail in and act the the poster dog for abandoned puppies

  • You have one smart dog.. Well.... Does look like a collie mix kind of, and those breeds are pretty much and pretty. Is that was your dog is, a collie mix? :o

  • @Wolfyy23 pretty much smart* me and my typos xD!

  • @Wolfyy23 Yes .. her Mom was a pure bred collie. Not sure what Dad was. Thanks for the kind comment!

  • @BadSpottedDog

My baby boy reacts just the same way... actually both of my babies do as does my mother's dog (my youngest sister -_-). They feel shame and guilt just the same way that humans do and will react similarly. My little boy lowers his head in shame and crouches, my little girl makes her eyes wide and tries to give me kisses to apologize. I don't understand why people find it so hard to understand how intelligent dogs genuinely are.

  • ARWHHH BLESSS!!xoxoxoxo

  • GUILTY GUILTY GULITY!!!!!

  • We used to have a dog that did the same thing when she knew she had done something wrong. All it took was a firm scolding and she would put her head down and squint and try to make amends with a few licks to the hand or face. It was always enough to earn forgiveness. Such a shame we had to put her down because of a serious genetic skin condition that we couldn't afford to treat properly. I miss you, Missy. <3

  • I am awe'd at our dog children. He was so so very sorry. Gotta love em and kiss em after that.

  • Leeloo is so adorable! How to feign anger when they are so sweet? Oooh, I love sensitive dogs!

  • My dog does this to, hes looks just like yours but hes black and white

  • My dog does the exact same thing!

  • This is NOT abusive or mean. The dog is feeling guilty, she knows she did something wrong, so she is being extremely submissive and cowering to show that she is lower in the pack and to ask for mercy from the boss dog. Or in this case, boss human. It's like you dense youtube scrubs have never owned a dog or something.

  • @R7gmbx Well said.

  • @R7gmbx It's basic dog psychology. Dogs actually don't look at everything as a 'pack' or as someone being 'leader' of a pack. Even in wolf packs, it's all about family. You have parents, and their children. The older children help take care of the younger ones and show them what to do, how to behave. Telling a dog "No" doesn't really teach them anything except you're mean when you're angry. You have to show the dog what you want. They aren't mind readers :)

  • Oh, that's so mean. Which do you prefer--the love of your tape or the love of your dog? I think it's crazy to put this video up. No true animal lover would ever do such a thing.

  • @yendor1152 you obviously don't know the first thing about owning an animal.

  • @yendor1152 She's not being cruel to the dog and she obviously lovers her dogs very much. Many dogs know when they have done something wrong and just react like they are guilty.

  • why do u have to make the dog feel so bad??

  • its funny how you were talking to her like she was gonna be like o you now couldnt find a toy so tape was the best next thing haha

  • LOL - it is like, "If I close my eyes, she won't be able to see me". :-)

  • mrs padgett?! this you?

  • awww poor baby isn't guilty! she's nervous and showing you, too! she's squinting her eyes, licking her lips and her head is low. it's okay, though, now that you know what she's communicating to you, you'll see it better :)

  • Hah, my dog just goes into his kennel when he's done something he knows he shouldn't have

  • cute video......cant believe how many idiots leave u ridiculous comments.....im seein u ppl r way too immature to be on the internet maybe u should go play with ur dolls or something

  • My dog does the exact same thing. They hear your tone of voice and they know clear well what they did. It's not from abuse, god people need to stop saying that.

  • My dog will come in the room and put herself in the corner when she's done something she's not supposed to.

  • that dog gets beaten off camera you can tell

  • I think people should just pay attention to how cute it is and stop telling her how to train her dog.

  • @Gordosmiles Thank you! I agree .. it gets really old. But EVERYONE is an expert, right?

  • My dog did the same thing. Whether it's a feeling of guilt or remembrance, they know when you are going to be upset. And you can never really be mad (even when you try to sound stern) because they are so gosh darn cute! She's a gorgeous dog!

  • Awwww soo cute!...... little leeloo! so guilty! SOO CUTEE!

  • Hahahahahahah awwwww thats so cute.........With that body language,i d forgive her if she bit my arm off.Isnt she an angel?

  • @BodaciousXOXO You guys just need to hop off, to be honest. Always big on the "owners are always doing something wrong" train. Maybe the dog is just really sweet and doesn't like trouble?

  • You shouldn't call her by her name while "verbally" punishing her for a behavior, because she might associate her name with "BAD" and know she is in trouble whenever you call her.

  • Lol my sis came home to find a HUGE mess made by her dog, the dog was hiding in the closet the whole time and when she found her she was doing the squinty eyes and trying to cover her face.

  • bwahahah my Pomeranian does the exact same thing! She gives herself away everytime, so I always have to look under the beds, in the bathroom or just around the carpet area.

  • awww what a cute dog!

  • AWW boo boo!! I feel so baaaad!!

  • Awwe poor Leeloo!LOL!

  • ^^ funny

  • people need to stop analyzing these videos and enjoy them for what they are. get over yourselves!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Ive read a lot of dog books and talk to a trainer and it is true that dogs dont feel guilty. even if your dog is smart its not guilt making her this way, its most likely a reaction to u as the owner a.k.a alpha.

  • @NickandPickles I volunteer for foster groups too. Most dogs aren't like this, so you probably haven't seen it, but this dog knows right from wrong, and gives herself away any time she does something bad.

If she's scared of me, then it would be unprovoked. I've had her for 12 years (since she was 4 months old), and I know that she is more human like.

I do scold her sometimes, but she normally punishes herself.

She is the smartest dog I've seen.

  • @BodaciousXOXO She was doing this when I walked in the door, without me saying a word to her. If the video was on at that time, you would see it. She often gives herself away.

  • @BadSpottedDog My Dog acts the same way! Hes a big friendly bull mastiff, but he knows when hes guilty! He trys to hide under our small marble table! I think its kinda cute though!

  • @BadSpottedDog Agreed. My dogs do the same. I know they've done something before I see the mess! lol

  • @NickandPickles I dont' allow bad language here, so rephrase your comments or they will be deleted.

  • @NickandPickles I am very sorry for your loss, and can understand how you feel. However, LeeLoo does this even if I don't say a word to her. She is just that smart. In fact, if you could rewind prior to this video, she was doing this when I walked in the door. Please watch our video, "forgiveness and high fives", and you will know that this dog is loved just like a family member.

  • @dacountryboy2529 I dont allow filthy language here. Rephrase your comments or be delelted

  • @Xiasyios I dont allow filthy language comments here. Rephrase your comment, or be deleted.

  • Here's an idea, buy the dogs a chew toy : )

  • @horsinarounddoc She has had plenty of those. She eats them, and they make her sick. She got this tape off of my shelf, which was higher than I thought she could or would reach.

  • @Xiasyios a) as you talk to the dog, it will recognise that you are dissapointed by the tone of your voice (does not really matter what you say, but more the way you say it) you could say "our father who art in heaven..." and dog would still get the hint. Also if you say words like "why" when cross, the dog will learn to associate the word "why" with a telling off. This can be useful to the owner.

  • @dacountryboy2529 so what exactly are you supposed to say then?? woof?? yehh like that will work. If a dog has been bad, you talk to it in a way which makes the dog realise you are dissapointed with him. They detect the tone of your voice and the words you use have changed and they know to be guilty. Although the dog wont answer the question of "why did you do that" he will know that a) its being asked in an upset way and b) the word "why" as a telling off word..

  • Comment removed

  • @19Iguy Rubbing their face in it is the WORST thing you can do. The first thing you have to do is ask yourself WHY they're doing it. Are you not getting the dog out often enough? Is it a puppy and just not completely trained? (It takes some dogs a year to reach the "completely house-trained" stage - just like kids, they're all different and grow at their own pace!) Are you giving him enough attention? He might be acting out! Just always ask why.

  • LMAO'!

  • This is so damn cute! I love how your dog admits what she did. What a great pal you got there!

  • @BadSpottedDog Lmao, my dog Buddy used to do this all the time. When he was bad, I would ask him to look at me and he'd get all squinty and whine, and then he would paw at my leg like "I'm soo sorry..." Was really hard to punish him sometimes though, he had those blue-ish brown husky eyes the ones that make you feel like the bad guy for it lols. Great vid thanks for sharing >:D
