@crewdj Just because you dont know how to take care of a car doesn't give you the right to call it unreliable. I have a 99 GST with just about every bell and whistle you can buy for it and it's my daily driver. All the upgrades make it guzzle up about 16mpg so that sucks but its damn sure reliable.

dsm ftl nismo ftw! put the same turbos on that 350z and lets see what happens. Obviouslly that DSM is heavily modded even at a single turbo probably has a better fuel system, tuned better, spools up faster. Twin turbos takes time,but has better power at higher end. stock vs stock it will break even with the 350z and 350z's are NA . DSM's have bad drivetrains sorry to say.

I beat plenty of them when I used to be stock. Because of that I thought my car was "Fast" until I ran a 2002 Camaro SS. Thats when I started getting upgrades :) Maybe your friend has a bad boost leak or needs some repairs.

Yeah, you got me, haha. Do some research, auto is king in the 1/4. How do you make such a bold conclusion off of a random comment?? Truth is I've owned 2-3 cars of each and auto is better. I had an auto 88 gt mustang and an 87 lx 5.0 5 speed. First gear in the standard was useless except for donuts. and the auto was capable of 60 mph in first. Yeah, it was slow off the line, but a stall converter would be an easy fix. Now I own an auto GSX and It stays in boost always.....

the purpose of a twin turbo is so it will spool up faster. Two smaller turbos spin up faster than one larger one specially on a v-6 like that 350z

@crazy8sx08 Sorry, not totally correct...Most likely that DSM has been built up...you are assuming of course it is still using the factory ECU. Which in likelihood it is not. So actually, not speed is a good question in this contest. the factor DSM's were only limited because of the type of tires they used and for insurance purposes. Top speed is most likely in the range of 160+. But all this is academic without the actual answer from the owner of the vehicle
