What do you mean? The contest featured amateur voice acting talent, with the winner getting an audition - but Haruhi had already been dubbed, by then.
Do the people taking part in this have to supply clips themselves or do they have to choose from what's available? I was just wondering 'cause of the timer on the screen.
I think if I were to do this, I would prefer to bring along an anime that doesn't have a dub but is licensed (like Gunbuster 2), so I could create a voice and not base it off the dub actor's.
The video clips are specially prepared by the AX Idol staff, with the contestants working with them to choose the character/clip that best suits their voice.
I'm not the best person to ask, but you probably have to sign up at AX. Or maybe in advance (online?). I think there's some other event that determines finalists.

Shes is hanging out with the staff, I am helped as well so I got to talk with her, cause we were doing set up for Saturday convention. She is like so cool, and funny. Shes really good at Japanese as well. I'm going to probable record some things and take some pictures =P.

my god, buckland is a natural! no wonder many have wanted her to play as characters in their animations. i can see she's already gonna be a big voice-acting star. ppl would b crazy to not choose her in a part, but should be begging...
Who doesn't love Kira? She is a legendary and beautiful cosplayer / actor. Many of her work is just too amazing for words. I'm glad that she entered for the contest, but I am also sad that Princess Aurora didn't enter. The professionals battling against each other.

It's amazing to think that years of hard work and dedication has brought you to be more than popular "Kagome" on the NGVAC, to "Kira Buckland" getting 100% positive feedback from professional judges all at such a young age!
