I got to meet Eric in 1984. He was totally not a rock star in the Rock Star since of the word. He was the most regular guy in the world. He was famous but if you met him in the mall or something you would think he was just a guy with long hair. Now Gene and Paul on the other hand are Total Rock star Treatment. I guess after 35 years they deserve it.

I was in my first semester of College, sitting in my truck in between classes on a cold November day when I first heard over the radio that both Eric Carr and Freddie Mercury had died. It was a sad day for Rock. RIP Eric and Freddie!!!

You couldn't be more correct. All you have to do is listen to "Dirty Living" and then listen to ANY song on Creatures of the Night and the drumming debate ends right there. Not to take away from Peter, he himself has said many times that he's a jazz drummer that played rock. I like Peter's voice over Eric's but Eric's drumming was stellar!

heres a funny story but it could have turned out bad . when i was younger in my high school years my dad loved to come see kiss n love to drum. n loved to hear eric .i turned around n he was asleep something told me he needed to get to a doctor. eric may have saved his life my dad was diagnosed with sleep apnia. you can be driving n fall asleep now he has a aparatis that helps him sleep normal.i knew that wasnt normal sleeping through eric cars drum solo.
