if any of you are from the uk try out rightprojectors or type in cheap projector it will be about 200 pounds its a teacknic hd500 model and it is a good projector but the price goes up and down so there more you pay the better the less you pay the less better it will be and it is 1024x768 resulution and supports 1080p

So that projector downgrades a 1080p signal to 480p? What's the native resolution? Well, I guess that may have been acceptable 3 years ago. Now, there are brand new projectors with full 1024x768 native resolution and much brighter contrasts levels for around $400 or less on eBay. I have an old Proxima LB30+ (800x600 native), bought it for $130 2 years ago. I'm going to put it back up on ebay for sale, after seeing all of the new cheap projectors from China that are much better, today.

BUT. i have 2 recliners, a couch, coffee table, 1000watt RCA surround sound, with a 12" Kicker CVR" car woofer, 1200 watt Kenwood amp. xbox 360, ps2, nintendo64, dvd, VHS (whoopty doo), Mini Fridge, Microwave.....oh and heat :) lol. it depends out the brand now NORmALLY it should give you AT least 1000 hours ( it has a lamp like the lamps in you house they have a certain lifespan too) so do your math if you wanna play 8 hours a day then it will last you 1000/8=days and so on I think thats about 2 or three years, but do research on the brands I saw new ones today that went up to 10,000 hours sp 10000/8=days then / the days to 365 ( year) and it should give you the year it will last given that you will for 8 hours.

i recently brought a 1080p optoma projector. and i must say it is freakin awsum. b4 i got it i always thought that projector were naff and blurry, but they ant. i dont know how they do it but the quality is amazing, i used to play ma xbox 360 on a hd samsung lcd screen but now they cant even compare with a projector. worth every penny
