Please show me the video or article where Obama said "I will ban all earmarks".... He never said that. McCain kept saying that knowing full well (or maybe he doesnt know, he is pretty stupid), that is impossible.

Nothing will ever get done if every bill gets vetoed because of "earmarks". Not every earmark is bad... $400,000,000 for a bridge to nowhere is bad. $1,000,000 to improve town libraries or city museums is not so bad for example.

The video about earmarks basically took parts of sentences where he said "no earmarks". We don't know what he said before or after it.. He could have been saying "Its disingenuous to promise no earmarks". Or maybe the MANY times he's said "No earmarks is a good idea, but earmarks makeup less than 1% of our budget, it won't solve very much".
