Very cool, super riding! Well done and what a cool pony. And helmet shmelmet people have been riding horses for thousands of years without helmets! Western riders don't wear helmets, film stunt riders dont wear helmets, vaulters dont wear helmets and they stand 3 ppl on top of each other's shoulders on a cantering horse...!

First of all you are insane to not wear a helmet. If you were to have fallen off you could have killed yourself! The jump did not look stable. Trust me I have jumped at HOYS and it is painful falling onto an unstable jump. Be sensible and get a helmet and a better jump!

so... that was cool and all but horses should NOT be ridden bareback. it is so bad for there back. the weight from the rider's seat bones is concentrated in one spot, versus being spread evenly by the saddle... just throwing that out there

@3omarkamal97 It really is dangerous for ANY sized horse to jump. But this pony CLEARED the jump and he seems fine. If he didnt think he could do it, he would have stopped before. Horses are smart. My horse did the same.

Dear helmet bible thumpers: its called Darwinism. If we as adults choose to make an informed decision about wearing a helmet please don't preach about it. Clearly we've made our choice and worse case scenario is that we remove ourselves from the gene pool (darwinism) and natural selection leaves more helmet evangelists left to repopulate. That being said; I ride my old man helmetless, but most everything else with one.

The BHS [British Horse Society] STATES, that if you are over the age of 16 years, you do not have to wear a helmet if you do not wish to. As by then you are old enough and wise enough to make your own decisions. So everyone stfu about the rider not wearing a helmet? I've jumped and schooled a pony who's a right knob to ride[heh my own too] without a helmet. Chill out!

You get a little older, you are in or witness some really bad accidents, you start to realize how important it is to wear a helmet. When I was 16 though, I thought I was invincible and my pony was 100% safe, and did stuff like this too. What a cute pony and WHAT A JUMP! :)
