@MrGmacfan i found the dynamic golds to be a little too high considering the cb's already launch the ball easily..i switched to kbs tour stiffs and those give a great flight and much more control for me.

@Golflad1029 go with the mc's, theyre said to be a 5-10 handicap and they will teach you to hit it more pure

hey mark, im looking to get one of these irons, i was thinking my first choice is the mb's, i have a high hiandicap but my iron play is my strongest part of my game, also, my dad has a set of forged muscle back irons that are 50 years old, i can hit those good 80% of the time,i assume that those clubs are harder to hit than the muscle backs you hit in the video.... what do you think? thanks, chris

I bought the tp cbs, I love them so far, the ball is decently wirkable with these but also they have a good amount of forgiveness to them.

@golum1197 I would recommend trying out the MC or the CB irons, the forged feel is really soft. I've tried the CB irons, really forgiving for a players iron and offers a bit of help.

im a thirteen handicap ive only been playing for a year and a half and ive progressed pretty quickly. i shoot around a 44 on 9 on an ok day and on a good day its around a 40 on 18 a good day will be like an 85 which of these three would be best for me

@KeepitontheTL I'm about a 13 handicap as well, and I really wouldn't recommend a forged iron like these for mid handicappers like ourselves, but if you were to get one, I would suggest the CB's because they offer more forgiveness, but they still are a "player iron" so they're harder to hit than game improvement irons. I ordered some Burner 2.0's after trying them out at Carl's Golfland, and they are amazing irons. If you are going to buy a new set, I recommend the Burner 2.0's, not TP irons

Hi I've tested all 3 of these clubs the other day and found that the cb has the lighter xp shaft fitted for more flight very similar to the burner2.0 in performance. The mb & mc are almost the same performance but the mc will give you that little bit extra forgiveness. I own the mc and there good.

@Sheagrommit I think the CBs are the best for you. I play off 9 and bought these 4 weeks ago from taylormade demo/custom fit day and they have really help my game. Also i seen that many of the pro's at the irish open including Raphael Jacquelin were using the MC's, so that little extra forgiveness really helps.

the mc irons are almost identical to the srixon i-701 irons from 2 years ago. fantastic irons, the srixons, the mc feel a tad odd, but they perform very good.

Yeah I've tried all 3 of them on the range during a TM demo day. The MB blade gives more vibration feedback if you don't get it on the sweet spot. The MC & CB when I tried it felt the same between the 2 of them during the test feel on the 6 iron. I personally felt that the height of the 6 iron for MC & CB is rather high but I'm no expert. JMHO.

Taylormade are just screws galor. Do they do any clubs without screws or weights in?

the screw dosent come out of these totally cosmetic(learned the hard way broke my inverted torque), they are pre set wieghts from the factor. Taylormade said the clubs are meant to wiegh about the same amount of grams on each club with small intervals inbetween.

Nice video, as usual. I was trying to decide between MP 53 and AP2, now it looks like there is a third option. What is your opinion regarding those 3 irons (MP53 - AP2 - TM TP CB) in terms of feeling, trajectory and distance?

Is it more the CB or the MC by TM that falls in the same range as the other 2 irons by Mizuno and titleist?
