The chronological order for Layton is, Specter's Flute, Eternal Diva, Mask of Miracle, Curious Village, Diabolical Box, Unwound Future.

Eternal Diva is a movie, while the rest are games. There is actually no continuation to Unwound Future. So the next 2 games that will be released will be prequel to all the current games.

This makes me realise how alike Klaus and Layton are. That last picture. Didn't we all see Layton and Luke doing that at various points in the game? And in the ending, when they talk, they both have the same pose, but their hands are switched. Little things, and then I think on another scene I saw Klaus with his family walking past Layton.

@LaytonKyouju - So, there is a "to be continued" screen - you say it's Layton and Luke with their backs to the screen - but what are they looking at? I guess what I am trying to ask is: Does the "to be continued" screen foreshadow the fourth game (malevolent flute/ specters flute)? or is it foreshadowing another game?

@caboose447 They aren't looking at anything. There's just a blank paper and Layton & Luke drew on it, standing backwards to the screen. I can't say if there will be continuation of the Unwound Future's story.
