It was so sad, and to all of those please do not Kate it personal but cut the religious crap. You can't judge if you are not in someone else's shoes. I totally support it and I an a catholic!!
I find it strange that we as a human race can choose or as we call it, be ethical to animals an euthanize them when they are terminal to prevent their suffering, but we some how feel it's wrong to be able to do so for ourselves. I think this film is nothing short of heroic.
I watched it twice on T.V and i cried both times..... Cody is only 53 years old My Mother is only 53 years old, I would never want my mother to suffer and would respect her wishes if she wanted to go the same route Cody did. Rest In Peace Cody I hope this movie opens up more peoples eye to see this as a good thing and not something negative cause no one wants to suffer and be in pain knowing you are going to die. :( **
Bravo, bravo, bravo! This is a beautiful, gut wrenching, and raw documentary. The right to live or die is innate. How courageous these folks were/are to make this decision. The decision to or not to is something to be respected and honored and should not be up for public debate.
I lost My Father, Brother Aunt and cozin to cancer. My best friend was said to have Adeno Liver Cancer and my husbands friend was said to have Adeno Brain cancer. My name is Pamela Durler And I live in New York, I belive people with cancer and other illness should have the right to die if they choose.
Just watched the film at Oregon Convention Center and I really like the way the director tells the story - very well thought. It's emotional but really makes me think about the value of life. Thumbs up to the director!
This is an extremely thoughtful and compassionate film. And no, it is not about euthanasia. All of the decisions are well considered, oftentimes very difficult, and discussed with family members. The film is not exploitative in any way, deeply personal, and not some 'fake' reality show on tv.
Hello person who uploaded this movie - shouldn't you put in the TITLE if the documentary and then the rest of your title so that when linked to facebook, the title shows up? You've already got the meet the artist part in the description.
...how do I want to live this day? ...and... do I want to be here tomorrow? ...any individual could (would be wise to) ask the same questions ...how do I want to live this day? ...and... do I want to be here tomorrow?
...the two operative words (for me) are 'live' and 'here'
thank-you for sharing this snapshot of ...wnat?!? ...definitely food for ♥thought♥

I felt so horrible for that woman. As cliche as the saying is, we really do take life for granted.
