Neighbours isn't as good these days. Its only the Kennedy's and Lyn Scully's Return thats keeping me watching.

Ratings were 5 million+ on the BBC, they were 2.6 million on average when it moved to Five, now its lucky to get 1.3 million in the UK.

Shows somethings not right, if ratings halved between June 2008 and June 2009, which they did.

That sucks. But RTE have started a heavy advertising campaign for Neighbours, which is being shown twice daily. At 1.45 and 5.30, just like the BBC's old slots.

I love how happy it is. I would really like to see neighbours go down the light comedy, bright coloured, family entertainment generally happy route a bit more. I mean lets face it some of the current characters aren't the MOST interesting so a bit of fun couldn't hurt. Plus it would make the dramatic things much more dramatic. May be a possibilty of channel 10 in aussie being influenced by the way five market it after all I hear the UK has a bigger audience for neighbours.
