I don't like the direction in wich RC's guitar sound is taking. He seems to be going for some kind or hybrid between modern high-gain and old school marshall. It's not really working for me, much preferred his old sound.

That's just my opinion though! And of course, his playing is still out of this fucking world!

This vid is a demo of the Jason Becker Overdive pedal so I don't think it's representative of his changing guitar "sound" as you referred to.

Everyone plays their music in technical groupings. Whether it's 7 in the time of 8 at 250bpm, or it's stright 8ths at 120 4/4. I mean seriously...wtf kinda insult is that?

hahaha... not really some people play music based on theory, some on a wierd mix of theory, memory and innovation. Some also just makes physical patterns that are OBVIOUS and play them together, so the music kind of makes sense, but not because it deserves to so to speak, its just a happy accident, especially when it is so freaking consistently the same.

sounds amazing! it would be cool to hear a ''JB pedal song'' like satriani did with the minicolossal song, just a short song to demonstrte in high quality the sound possibilitys of the pedal.
