Why are you using double bass for relatively slow bass parts? It just seem like it makes it even harder.

if it made it harder I wouldn't be doing it :P It comes down to me being more consistent with the two pedals, and things may be different if I wasn't still using stock pedals.

I also think the double bass coupler makes doing two quick hits on one pedal harder. even when those quick hits don't seem all THAT quick.

yep, these silencers are very good but not durable. I have ripped a layer out of the blue pad and almost two after playing. Still, they are good for a retail product

Yeah all i got is those silencers two on each pad, and aa foot pedal that has a hole in the heel area .... i know

my moded my foot pedal. It broke at the bottom pivet point (who's petal ever broke there? its always in the middle of the petal it breaks) so dad and I screwed a metal plate (cutout) to the petal and now its bad-ass.

Nice job dude, I also have those same pads on my RB drum set and to be honest they made my RB set more unresponsive lol but it seems that you dont have that problem lol

The really only difference with these sliencers and xcell are the durability i have used xcell these and i now have ions i broke the red drum right off of my drums for original kit
