the cream that i was using wasn't even that strong. someone told me it might hold better if i stick the fangs to my actual gums since that's what it's used for. but i haven't tried it yet. xD

it was just a small bottle cap filled with water. i was hoping it could help keep the fang in place better.

@MissInterpretCosplay what i found out was that u can use (Recapit Dental Repair Cement for Loose Caps) that u can get from walgreens or any other pharmasy type place and this is realy cheap. u can eay with it drink with it and talk with it without them falling out. this is what my dentist uses so i no its totaly safe. this only caosts about $5 for a small container but u only need a tiny bit.

the one that i was using says it's non toxic, and besides ppl do have to put it in their mouth to keep their dentures in place anyway. lol but if you think you could be allergic to it, just spear a tiny amount on the inner part of your elbow and leave for an hour. if you get some sort of allergic reaction to it, you may have to try something else. ):

Poligrip tastes very nasty lol....i use it to hold the teeth you can buy for halloween with the "puddy" taht is next to useless. Does a good job....just brush your teeth after you take your fangs off :P

nah, it's not very strong, but it's good enough. i'm still researching a better adhesive. it takes good practice to keep the fang in place. so keep trying. i think upper my upper lips managed to keep it in place. and try not to open my mouth too wide while i'm talking. xDDD

How creative!!! Im going to try this! I bought some fake fangs that were way too big for my small teeth (I even filed them down - the fake fangs, not my teeth lol) I used polygrip and it doesnt seem to hold them on tight enough. someone was suggesting dying their fake teeth with soda or coffee. with koolaid, hm? i guess you have to leave it in there for a good while. or maybe try boiling the kool-aid first as if your using actual fabric dye. they say the hotter you make fabric dye the better the color... though i don't recommend using fabric dye. ^^

sorry if you got an incomplete reply from the last message. anyway, it's totally NOT like super/nail glue, and again i do not recommend using that type of glue. the denture adhesive i was using really wasn't that much of a strong hold, i just held the fang and slowly wiggling it side to side til it came off.

HI OMG I"m having a freakout right now, because I got some fake teeth, HATE THEM. But I have to use them, but they don't match my teeth color. They are far to stark white. Any suggestions on dying them? I thought maybe of sticking them in soda, or painting them?

Thats a pretty cool trick using fake nails. If your going to use them for cosplay and will wear them on several occasions I would recommend just buying some custom fangs. They fit your teeth perfect, can be stained to match your teeth perfectly, are good forever as long as you dont lose your tooth. May or may not still have a lisp depending on what kind of fangs you want. If you want movie quality fangs hit me up and ill send you my link. Im a SFX make up artist based outta L.A. and Vegas
