na the style is NOT the same...There are distinct styles which are numerous all over Egypt...Qari basit perfected his own style from his master/teacher

abdul basit was farely new to the qiraat world many previous sheikhs have passed with beautiful recitations and abdul basit made his style by combining the old sheikhs styles
