  • YESSSSS! FUCKING LOVE THIS!

  • Beutiful machine!

  • thats so kick ass how much did that cost you to fully restore?

  • BACK TO THE FUTURE!! i always think of that movie when i hear this song! Seeberg Jukeboxes are awesome machines!!! I love how they play 45s "side-ways" I remember as a young kid being inside Ethal's Old Corral Cafe in Bakersfield, California, with my dad watching a Seeberg selectomatic Jukebox playing "Tie A Yellow Ribbon" by Tony Orlando and Dawn (Bell Records 45,318)

  • killer chrome very beautiful

  • Ahhh...the old bullet proof M100B. I just picked up the 78 of that. It was such an underrated version of that song. Yes, I remember it being in "Back To The Future." My Mother was a Four Aces fan and just flipped when she heard it in the movie.

  • that's just fckin amazing :D

  • fantastic!

  • great scott !

  • 1.21 Gigawatts?!?!?! Thomas, can it be done?

  • And just to think at some point back in the 50s somebody listend to this same song on this same jukebox at some coffie shop or Diner back the.

  • I often wonder what people in the 50's would think if I went back in time with a Zune, a DS and a laptop... Oh, man, if only time travel were possible... That would be awesome...

  • yet dire...havnt you seen back to the future? lol

  • Yeah, but they didn't have those things back then! XD

  • By "back then", I mean 1985.

  • 1855 u mean...thats the reference to the movie

  • or wait...which were u replying to?

  • You said "Haven't you seen back to the future" which implied that they did what I suggested, but they couldn't have brought Zunes or Laptops or DS's back to 1955 because those things weren't invented yet in 1985.

  • no IO mean if they made a movie like that in 2009 like an update to the classic and marty mcfly had an ipod instead of the Aiwa Cassette Walkman, PSP maybe and a digital camera instead of that red clunky VHS camera in the movie. and maybe instead of the classic mac computer in the pawn shop where marty got the sports almanac mag there would be a QC4GHz CPU with 6GB of ram and running crysis. wheres computers of the time have maybe 100 gigs of ram and billions of gigs of HD and 1000Ghz CPU

  • WE used our 8 transistor radio as if this was the greatest thing since sliced bread.

It was the closest thing we had to an iPod.

  • lol or if i went back to the 50s and brought my PSP my ipod my playstation 2 and a laptop computer maybe a playstation 3 system with GTA IV, I wonder what ppl would think lol?

  • i dont think you'll be able to hook it up. if bring your own tv, people would be paying less attention to the game and more to the GLORIOUS TELEVISION COLOURING SYSTEM!!

  • yeah id bring one of those mini LCD TVs or ill just use my laptop's screen somehow. I dont have a laptop but I wish i did. now the AC power issue if any like the plugs but ive seen 1930s vacuums that have the same plugs as today but a bit older but they still work in today's outlets. i dont know about the voltage or amps or the Hz.

  • probly be like WTF is that?? LOL

i be wonderin stuff like that too..

or go into he future an bring sumthin cool back to 2009 lol..

  • yeah ill get a PS9 in the future and bring it back to 2009..

  • if i could ill bring back one of the flyin cars..hoverboard..an a almanac if i could one lol

  • @coondogtheman1234 playstation will be dead! just grab an xbox instead

  • @GherkinGob I hope sony brings back PS2 support on the PS3 but it wont happen b/c they are idiots. the reason I have a PS2 is b/c I want to be able to rip music from games. when I get a PC with a Blu ray drive either ROM or writer then I'll get a new game system. but I might as well get games for the PC b/c you can mod them.

  • hello! hello! think mcfly! think!

  • Just Loved it! Wish I had that Jukebox too!

  • Love this. Thanks for uploading!

  • cool song. heard it in back to the future.

  • awsome i want one of those! haha

i love how it looks !

i like the 50's style of things

  • i like to imagine how life was in the 50's, without gadgets , computers, etc...

  • wonder if this song was popular here in England

  • According to Wikipedia it was released by The Chordettes and by The Four Aces in 1954. There are versions of the song by Chet Atkins, Marvin Gaye, The Supremes,The Puppini Sisters and Blind Guardian. It has featured in a number of TV and film soundtracks including The Simpsons, Back to the Future (The Four Aces version) and several of the Halloween films. Although they do not list a recording by The Mills Brothers I know for a fact they did it, in 1955.

  • what a good job!!! to be proud of!!!!

    = )

  • it is indeed the best version of mr sandman ! back to the future ftw

  • This is a Seeburg BL. It was reveneered in zebra wood. Took a long time to do the veneering around the grill area (a lot of small strip pieces) but got good results.

    Thanks for looking!

  • @shaboomers jelous!!!

  • Is this a M100B or BL? How was the case restored - reveneered or repainted? It looks good and an inspiration for my project. Thanks!

  • who da hell made dis version of da song ? .. . . its best . . awesome :)I love it

  • The Four Aces

  • i have mr sandman but i dont know who plays it because its not the 4 aces nor the chordettes

  • Comment removed

  • Clear high frequencies; not your usual "juke-box sound".

  • Why the glove? lol

  • I don't get it

  • I thought the guy that punched the selection on the Juke, had a glove on. Sorry, I have 'low vison'. Made it interesting for a moment. lol Thanks!

  • The coolest Jukeboxes played records vertically like that one. Awesome!!

  • Wow I wonder how many people fell in love with this song because Back to the Future played it? I know I did. I was really bummed when I bought the soundtrack back in 1985 and it did not contain this song!

  • Please, would you mind to tell me who is peforming "Mr Sandman" so amazingly and fully well played? I'dd like to record this marvelous track, knowing which band did it!

Thanks from Arthur Steagall from Brazil!

  • Hello 2ndwar. This is FOUR ACES's version of Mr. Sandman (did you see "Back to the Future - part 1" ? When Marty arrives to downtown, in 1955, Mr. Sandman is playing). In my opinion, this version is better than the Cordettes's version.

  • Wow awesome jukebox!! Thanks for putting this up, it's hard to find this version of the song and I love this one cos of BTTF.

  • This is my favourite song from 50's! By the way, do you know the Sh-Boom song from The Chords?

  • thanks for posting this video, surching that version since .... years.... for me it s a lot better that the one from the cordettes. thanks a lot eva from vienna

  • Thank you for your comment, Vienna!

I agree with you that this version is better than the Cordettes. However I do like the Cordettes version also but not as much as the Four Aces.

  • I actually first got to know the Four Aces version (Back to the Future flick) and THEN I heard The Chordettes' .. anyway, I still prefer the Four Aces version (and indeed it took me quite some time find an original recording of it here. Thanks for the up! Indeed great jukebox :)

  • ... same history of this song for me... my first knowledge of mr sandmann is from the four aces and .. i think it s the better oen, more swing, more ...hmmmmm.. anyway.. better :) love eva
