@93FordMustang93 not really, it works basically like the 50 cent temporary tattoos. You put a film over and then slowly pull it off and the sticker stays behind. But honestly, I would suggest that you get some dot inlays (at least) and put them in. Or if you don't want to you can get your local guitar shop to put them in for you.

Hello, do you inlay with the board already radiused? I assume not, but if so, any tips on how to go about such a tricky thing as inlaying an already radiused board (ie, adding complex inlays on an already finished guitar)? @abottomful i'm not going to say it's easy but looking at it from a standoff point it looks really intimidating if you have not done it before, but the more you research it (highly recommend) it's just a step by step process that if you take your time and don't rush anyone can do it, i've just got done building my first guitar and planning a second with more custom look to it, plus if you have the tools a DIY neck will be a whole lot cheaper then a premade one, and you can make it how you want

@abottomful You need to get a fret board calculator for that, Search google for fretboard calculator and you should find a program that can tell you all sorts of different measurements obviously i can't tell you not knowing your scale length your working to.

plus you can try different things out while your at it lol. like a jackson sort of setup where the neck is flat (180 deg), and the strings too, or gibsons where the neck bends back a little bit, and the bridge is raised.

You can do it with frets on and fill any areas not covered by the new inlay with colored epoxy...I dont suggest this as a good method but have done it. You should remove the frets to inlay..it is easier on ebony because you can use black filler and dye to hide any over-routs

well i did my best, but i think i need more practice. i might just get a replacement neck, my job turned out real rough. i wonder if fender makes the necks the same as they did in the past. after taking off the neck i see a handwritten date on the end 8/15/54. i figure i might be able to get a mexican made or usa reissue neck from ebay for it. this guitar is real old so i want to still play on it.
