@Mefreo Yeah its digital but don't let that throw you. It has dry signal through and is true bypass. I went in to the store I bought mine from looking for analouge and ended up with this. It is a very nice sounding pedal and is heaps versatile, with the toggle to select the chorus, tri chorus or tone-print pre-set. The tri chorus is real nice kicks clean tones well up a notch and you can dial in how much shimmer against the straight dry untouched signal you want no drama.
I just bought this pedal and I could not be more happy, just using the stock settings I am able to get a really tasty, warm and sweet chorus shimmer, and I have not even begun to explore its possibilities yet. This pedal is truly in a different league compared to the Boss CH-1 pedal I was using earlier.
I own this pedal and it's not "thin" at all. Very clean and transparent and doesn't turn to mush when you dime it out. I did an A/B with the Hardwire and while I like the Hardwire line (and own two of them), the Corona was far more transparent and clear. Very nice pedal.
time to replace my 15 year old boss ce-3............no comparison...........the tc flashback delay is the best i've owned for the size & price as well......great company, good product..........great playing on these demos by the way......good variety
Sounds G R E A T !!! Now Ive got two pedals I want to get ! I think just the Corona and Hall of Fame straight into the amp would offer a ton of killer sound combinations !!! Well, if you added your guitar too that is : /
I have them connected in the FX loop (series) of my amp. I noticed that just when I have the 3-pedal activated.. it produce a noise. By the way all pedals are in true-bypass mode. Do you recommend me to switch to buffer mode? which one? or all three? Thank you
7:02 HA! This answered a question I was just about to ask about the Tone Print line. I was wondering if the preset parameters in the Tone Prints locked out the other controls.
The Corona Chorus features TC's TonePrint technology, which allows you to download custom artist presets from John Petrucci, Bumblefoot, PGS Andy and others.
One of the nicest chorus pedals I've ever seen. How they got it so right I'll never know! I was this close to buying an EHX chorus, but now you've got me thinking second thoughts with this. :D
Hi PGS Crew- Have you had a chance to see the (pre release) software for DIY Tone Printing? Wondering if it just lets you set the range of the knobs or actually lets you reprogram the DSP.
@Giveitawayer - The stereo inputs allow you to integrate it with other stereo pedals on your pedalboard, such as TC's Flashback Delay, for instance. It also means you could use it with a keyboard or any other instrument with stereo outputs. Thanks!
I think I am going to buy this pedal and the Flashback. Tore said on TGP that he doesn't see why TC wouldn't release the Toneprint Editor software to the public in the future. So that is enough reason for me. The pedals sound great, and to be able to tweak them extensively via software would be amazing! It's gonna happen!
I like the tone print idea.....but there are only 4 knobs... I'd hope I could figure out someones chorus fxt without having to firewire it in... I mean 4 knobs, ok... and a switch.
@juliedog464 - The Toneprint technology allows access to parameters that are not available with the pedal's external controls. It also allows you to expand the range of the parameters that are controlled by the knobs. And it's USB, not Firewire. Hope that clears things up. Thanks!
For all the chorus pedal haters out there let me just state that any pedal sounds bad when misused. I have a chepo fab chorus and if you take it and blast its effect it sounds terrible. If you take it and use it just enough to where it cuts off some of the edge and adds a slight shimmer to your tone most any chorus pedal can sound really nice. Its the same with any effect really. To much distortion/flanger/reverb sounds bad.
I'm sorry but in my opinion big companies should stop making chorus pedals. I have an EHX Small Clone, one of the best chorus pedals on the market, and unless you are in an 80s cover band (which no one should be in) there is no truly appropriate use for it. *rant off*
There's a lot more uses than just an 80s cover band. Take a look at ambient guitarists, or even keyboard players. Personally, chorus is the only modulation I use, and I use it to accent cleans, give the guitar a shimmer. If used right, they don't just sound cheesy and 80s-like, and a lot of people have found fantastic uses for them in all kinds of genres.
@Ilovemyfender2 That's kind of ignorant to say, like another guy said, alot of Ambient Guitarists use them as it can add a nice shimmer to their tone, Kurt Cobain also used a chorus pedal on Nevermind and that's hardly an 80's album.
@Ilovemyfender2 Man, more like *rant off base*. I use a touch of chorus to thicken up my high gain tones, and I know I'm not the only one. Chorus is a timeless effect.

Why would you need stereo inputs? I understand the outputs, so that you can send the signal to two different amps, but why stereo input?
