  • Happy New Year 2012

  • Nice cat...

  • Great thats all I have to say just Great! thank you very much for the lesson! if you ever need rainbow obsidion I am your man.

  • when sharpening the antler with the flake, did you simply make the tip more pointy or what expactly sid you do, I have a problem with my antlers and they seem to get weaker when i sharpen or shape them. Then again i grind them with a rock, not with a flake like you do, can you fill me in!

  • You are human after all! Thanks for this great series on the Humboldt point Jimmy. The ancient ones would be proud to see how you recovered the most from the stone. Your patience and determination are inspiring.

  • I know how frustrating those overshot flakes can be, but great recovery and nice looking Humboldt. I believe the old boys would have welcomed you into the tribe! Thanks again for posting this series Jimmy, I think the old boy who made that old Humboldt point is looking back smiling at us!....jim

  • @paleomanjim Thanks Jim. I'm sure he is smiling indeed. I watched a video on youtube called "John Lords flintknapper." He mentioned how these problems we encounter aren't new. They were there in the past, and how we can in a sense reconnect minds with the people of the past simply by dealing with these problems. Great little clip. You might want to watch it for yourself. Thanks Jim, Jimmy
