The main Digivice colours are Red, Yellow, Green, Blue, Black, and Pink. And in every series the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th kid's Digivice colour changes e.g. Tai = Yellow, Davis = Blue, Takato = Red (apart from series 4, 5 and 6 where Takuya should have had Black, Data Squad Leader shoulda had Green, and Taiki shoulda had pink but of course the leader could never have black which represents evil, or pink which is always for girls which is why Kazu from Tamers' Digivice was Brown).

Hitting Digimon brings them down to human level which makes them wimps and suck, and remember in series 2 when Yolei accidentally killed LadyDevimon with a skateboard was so so upset? So they've pretty much established that hitting Digimon is wrong. But i can't say much about Data Squad cos I haven't watched the entire series, but I didn't really like one of the episodes I watched, just thought it looked common, in comparison to the other series.

@gaurdianofsakura Yeah I agree, however, Tamers is awesome cos it's realistic and dark, which is why Nolan's Batman films are so successful. All that fake over-the-top shit just got tiresome. However, for children I'd recommend Adventure 01/02, but for teenagers, I'd recommend all three (loool). Adventure 01/02 are timeless classics, Tamers is a bold new step which was successful but teenagers would like it more than kids, which is why most people didn't like it that much, such as me at first.

So far only seasons 1 through 4 are cool but season 6 is definately an improvement from season 5.

Like season 3 was a little different but in a similar style and season 4 was pretty different but in a cool kinda way. But season 5 uses an old character which makes no sense, has a human attempt to fight a digimon, they're not as young, the art style is different and not very attractice and the animation is lacking. Season 6 looks a little lazy but it's still an improvement. lol We'll see. :]

Adventure - Probably had the cast with the best characterization and character development, and ending.

02 - Overall okay, but the ending...

Tamers - Dark theme was great. Liked how it deconstructed the Mon genre.

Frontier - Looks okay from the few episodes I've seen.

Savers - Okay too, and I like the idea of older characters.

Xros Wars - Starts out a bit slow, but eventually starts getting deeper and so far has the best battle scenes.

Season 1 & 2: Best hands down (don't even TRY to argue with it)

Season 3: Much more dark theme which I thought was cool for a 'kids' series, but I hated it because it had no clear ending. Just sorta left you hanging.

Season 4: Liked the idea of the digi people actually doing something directly (unlike season 1 & 2), but wasn't the best season.

Season 5: Now they just pulled it too far

Season 6: Seriously?

One good thing is about Digimon is that, unlike Pokemon, each season is somewhat different.

The thing is he said season 5 sucks which is not true. 5th season is most mature of all seasons, it has really great plot, maybe the best in Digimon. Rabid "fans" hate this seasons because the main character doesn't have goggles, different Agumon and stupid stuff like that and they either didn't watch it or watched english dub.
