So you've joined the Piano String Snapper Club. :D  Interesting experience, isn't it. ;) I've snapped quite a few strings in my old upright piano, including the lowest note at least 6 to 8 times (I lost count). Ok, so now I'd like to see the girl's reaction when either A - she's sitting on the left at a grand piano when a bass string snaps at the back of the piano, or B - she's standing on the right at the curve of a grand with its lid open.... when the plate (iron frame) cracks. :)
